Hilton Head Christian Academy (HHCA) is a private, college preparatory Christian school for kindergarten through 12th grade, located in Bluffton, South Carolina, United States.

History

HHCA was founded in 1979 and sits on a 27.7 acre campus in the town of Bluffton. It was originally located on nearby Hilton Head Island but relocated to Bluffton in January 2021. [1] It is the only school in Beaufort County accredited by both the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

It is the only school on Hilton Head Island to be accredited by the National Association of Independent Schools.

He served as the head football coach at Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia from 1997 to 1999 and Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania from 2014 to 2018. In 2009, Kelly was the head coach and general manager for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He has worked as an assistant coach at the high school football level, for several college football teams, and for professional teams in the CFL, XFL, and the National Football League (NFL). Okatie is an unincorporated suburban community west of Hilton Head Island, located in Beaufort and Jasper counties, in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Okatie takes its name from the nearby Okatee River, an estuary of the Port Royal Sound. The headquarters of the Beaufort-Jasper Water and Sewer Authority are located in Okatie, as are the Beaufort-Jasper Academy for Career Excellence and John Paul II Catholic High School.
