Hip Hop Tamizhan is the debut album of the Indian music duo Hiphop Tamizha, consisting of Adhi and Jeeva. [1] It was released on 17 August 2012.
Hip Hop Tamizhan was released on 17 August 2012 at Sathyam Cinemas in Chennai. Publicised as "India's first Tamil hip hop album", the album was launched by Purple note and produced by Rémy Martin, who was for the first time associated with an Indian album. The music for all the songs was composed by Adhi and Jeeva while the songs were penned by Adhi. [1] "Club le Mabbule" was composed by Adhi when he was in his first year of college. One year prior to the album's release, when he "started taking it seriously and doing this as a project", he approached several radio stations who helped him on the song; a radio performance of the song received over four and a half lakh views on YouTube. [2] The studio version was released on 26 August 2012. [3] The official music video for Iraivaa was officially launched on 6 April 2013, [4] and was uploaded to YouTube 13 April 2013. [5] [6]
Venkatrangan R of Musicperk called the album "A must listen. Not only for the music but for the messages hidden in it." [1] Naren Weiss, writing for Zomba, said it is "more than just an album. It's a carefully crafted story, the kind of CD you put on and listen to from start to finish." [7] The album was a commercial success, and became the best-selling music album of 2012 on Flipkart. [8]

Anis Mohamed Youssef Ferchichi, better known by his alias Bushido, is a German rapper, hip-hop producer, and entrepreneur. He is also the co-founder of the record label ersguterjunge.
Lawrence "Kris" Parker, better known by his stage names KRS-One and Teacha, is an American rapper from The Bronx. He rose to prominence as part of the hip hop group Boogie Down Productions, which he formed with DJ Scott La Rock in the mid-1980s. KRS-One is known for his songs "Sound of da Police", "Love's Gonna Get'cha ", and "My Philosophy". Boogie Down Productions received numerous awards and critical acclaim in their early years. Following the release of the group's debut album, Criminal Minded, fellow artist Scott La Rock was shot and killed, but KRS-One continued the group, effectively as a solo project. He began releasing records under his own name in 1993. He is politically active, having started the Stop the Violence Movement after La Rock's death. He is also a vegan activist, expressed in songs such as "Beef". He is widely considered an influence on many hip-hop artists.
Farid Hamed El Abdellaoui, known professionally as Farid Bang, is a German rapper of Moroccan-Spanish descent. He is currently the owner of the label Banger Musik.
Carlo Waibel, better known by his stage name Cro, is a German rapper and singer. He describes his music as a mixture between rap and pop, which he calls "raop". He is known for wearing a panda mask on stage.

Josh Vivian is an Indian composer, singer, and songwriter based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is the founder and frontman of Namma Ooru Boy Band (NOBB), the first Tamil boy band. He released his first single, "Cosmopolitan Kadhali", in April 2014 and quickly gained prominence.
Meesaya Murukku is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language coming-of-age musical comedy-drama film written and directed by Hiphop Tamizha in his directorial debut. He stars as the lead along with newcomer Aathmika as the female lead, while Vivek, RJ Vigneshkanth and Vijayalakshmi play supporting roles. The film, a partly fictionalised biopic of Adhi's early life, was released on 21 July 2017 to mostly positive reviews and was a box-office hit. It was later remade in Kannada in 2019 as Padde Huli.
Kharesma Ravichandran is a British playback singer for Tamil cinema films. Her first public performance came at the age of four for the British Heart Foundation. A professionally trained western vocalist, Ravichandran began her playback singing career in 2014, with her debut coming in the Tamil film Yennai Arindhaal (2015). She is currently signed as an independent artist under Hiphop Tamizha’s label “Underground”.
Natpe Thunai is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language sports film directed by D. Parthiban Desingu in his directorial debut, while Sreekanth Vasrp and Devesh Jeyachandran wrote the story, screenplay and dialogues. Produced by Sundar C and Khushbu under the banner Avni Movies, the film stars Hiphop Tamizha, Harish Uthaman, newcomer Anagha and Karu Pazhaniappan alongside actors Sha Ra, Pandiarajan and Kausalya. It is based on the sport of field hockey. In 2021, it was remade in Telugu as A1 Express.
Tamizhi is a 2019 Indian Tamil language documentary web series created, produced and composed by Hiphop Tamizha, in their digital debut. The eight-episode web series is directed by Pradeep Kumar and written by Elango, which is a research documentary series based on evolution of Tamil writing script. The first episode was aired on 2 October 2019, through the composer's official YouTube channel, and its finale was aired on 22 November 2019.

Natpe Thunai is the soundtrack album for the 2019 Indian Tamil-language film of the same name. The soundtrack album was composed by Hiphop Tamizha with lyrics written by Hiphop Tamizha, Arivu, Sollisai Selvandhar and Dr. Vadugam Sivakumar. All the songs in the film were released as singles. The soundtrack album which features, all the songs were released on 3 April 2019. The songs "Madham Madham" and "Keezh Veezhndhal Meendezhuvom" were not featured in the film's soundtrack album, despite being featured in the end credits of the film.
Naan Sirithal is a 2020 Indian Tamil-language comedy film written and directed by Raana in his directorial debut. Following the success of Meesaya Murukku and Natpe Thunai, Sundar C co-produced Adhi's third film and it became a hat-trick hit. Hiphop Tamizha and Iswarya Menon and K. S. Ravikumar is playing a villain role, while Badava Gopi and Eruma Saani Vijay are playing supporting roles. It is a feature film version of Raana's own short film Keka Beka Keka Beka. The film released on 14 February 2020 to mixed reviews.
Naa Oru Alien is the second studio album of the Indian music duo Hiphop Tamizha, consisting of Adhi and Jeeva. The album was released on 14 August 2020.
Thani Oruvan is the soundtrack album for the 2015 Tamil film of the same name directed by Mohan Raja and starring Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swamy. The album has five songs in total, all of them being composed by Hiphop Tamizha, and also wrote four out of five tracks, with Mohan Raja penning one of the tracks from the album. It is Hiphop Tamizha's third feature film as a composer, after Aambala and Indru Netru Naalai. The soundtrack album was unveiled by Sony Music India on 25 July 2015, and received positive response from critics and audiences. Thani Oruvan was listed as the most streamed Tamil album and the second best Tamil album of iTunes of the year 2015, followed by O Kadhal Kanmani.
Anbarivu (transl. Greetings) is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language family drama film written and directed by Aswin Raam in his directorial debut and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. The film stars Hiphop Tamizha Adhi in his first dual role, Kashmira Pardeshi, and Shivani Rajashekar, with Napoleon, Vidharth, Sai Kumar, Asha Sharath, and Arjai in supporting roles. The film's music and the score is composed by Hiphop Tamizha with cinematography handled by Madhesh Manickam and editing done by Pradeep E. Ragav. The film was released via Disney+ Hotstar on 7 January 2022.
PT Sir is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language social drama film written and directed by Karthik Venugopalan, and produced by Ishari K. Ganesh. The film stars Hiphop Tamizha Adhi in the titular role, alongside Kashmira Pardeshi, Anikha Surendran, Prabhu, Ilavarasu, Pandiarajan, Thiagarajan and Munishkanth.
Kadaisi Ulaga Por is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language dystopian science fiction action thriller film written, directed and produced by Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi under Hiphop Tamizha Entertainment. The film stars Aadhi, alongside Nassar, Natarajan Subramaniam, Anagha, N. Azhagam Perumal, Harish Uthaman, Munishkanth, Singampuli, Kalyan Master, Elango Kumaravel, Thalaivaasal Vijay and Mahanadi Shankar. It is the first production of the studio and the third directorial venture of Aadhi. The film, set in the year 2028, revolves around the war in India after it refused to alliance with the neighbouring country.
Dhruva (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack to the 2016 Telugu-language action film of the same name directed by Surender Reddy. A remake of the Tamil film Thani Oruvan (2015), the film stars Ram Charan, Rakul Preet Singh and Arvind Swamy. The musical score is composed by Hiphop Tamizha in their Telugu debut and features four songs with lyrics written by Chandrabose and Varikuppala Yadagiri. The soundtrack was released under the Aditya Music label on 9 November 2016.
