Hiroka Yaginuma (born September 23, 1981) is a Japanese born professional wrestler. She is best known for her work in the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Yaginuma has worked under the ring names Hiroka Yaginuma and "Raven Hiroka" but is now billed simply as Hiroka. She is a former holder of the CMLL World Women's Championship. Yaginuma is married to Mexican Mini-Estrella Pequeño Damián 666 who also works for CMLL.

Professional wrestling career

Hiroka Yaginuma trained under Mima Shimoda and Shinobu Kandori before her professional wrestling debut, and would later receive further training from Jose Luis Feliciano and El Hijo Del Gladiador when she began working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in Mexico. [1] Yaginuma made her debut on September 18, 2002, and initially worked in her native Japan. [1] In 2005, she began working regularly for the Mexican wrestling promotion CMLL as she moved from Japan to Mexico to live. [1] Initially she wrestled under her full name but later changed to "Raven Hiroka" and later on to simply "Hiroka". [2] On June 9, 2006, Hiroka defeated Marcela to win the CMLL World Women's Championship in Mexico City, D. F. [3] Over the next six months Hiroka would successfully defend the championship against Marcela on several occasions, India Sioux, Dark Angel and Lady Apache. On October 13, 2006, Hiroka defeated Lady Apache in a Luchas de Apuestas (Spanish for "Bet match"), forcing Lady Apache to have her hair shaved off after the match. [4] Two months later, on December 25, 2006, Lady Apache gained a measure of revenge by winning the CMLL Women's title from Hiroka. [3]

In September, 2009 Hiroka formed a group rudo (villain) called Las Zorras ("The Foxes") along with Princesa Sujei and Princesa Blanca. [5]

Personal life

Yaginuma is married to Mexican Mini-Estrella Pequeño Damián 666 who also works for CMLL. The couple opened up an exclusive pet shop in Mexico City in March, 2010. In June, 2010 Hiroka announced that she would be retiring from wrestling to focus on having a child.

Florencio is a part of Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre's (CMLL) Mini-Estrella, or "Mini". The Pequeño Damián 666 ring character is a Mini-version of wrestler Damián 666. In early June, 2010 he changed his ring name to Demus 3:16 as Damián 666 held the trademark to the name and would no longer allow him to use it.

Jesús Guillermo Anaya Cortés is a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler, best known by his ring name Bam Bam, a Mini-Estrella, or "Mini" wrestler. Anaya made his professional wrestling debut in 2002 and has worked mainly for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), where he is a former CMLL World Mini-Estrella Champion. Sin Piedad (2006) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) produced by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), which took place on December 15, 2006 in Arena México, Mexico City, Mexico. The 2006 Sin Piedad was the fifth event under that name that CMLL promoted as their last major show of the year, always held in December. The main event was tag team Lucha de Apuestas, hair vs. hair match with the team of Kenzo Suzuki and Marco Corleone going up against Universo 2000 and Shocker. The show also featured a six-man "Lucha Libre rules" tag team match for the CMLL World Trios Championship where champions Los Guerreros del Infierno (Atlantis, Tarzan Boy and Último Guerrero defended against Los Perros del Mal. She has won the 2003, 2005, and 2008 Reina de Reinas tournaments and has held the Mexican National Women's Championship two times. After working for AAA for the majority of her career, she jumped to Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in September 2010.

Pequeño Universo 2000, sometimes also referred to as Universito 2000, is a Mexican luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler. He is working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in their Mini-Estrella division, which does not necessarily mean that Fantasy is a dwarf as several wrestlers who are just shorter in stature work in the "Mini" division. Pequeño Universo 2000's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. His name means "Little Universo 2000" and his ring character is based on Universo 2000, a regular sized Luchador, whom he leases the rights to the name from.

Ernestina Sugehit Salazar Martínez is a Mexican luchadora who is best known under the ring name Princesa Sugehit. Originally working under a mask, Lagunas was unmasked after losing a match on August 1, 2014.

In June 2012 the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) held four CMLL Super Viernes shows, all of which took place in Arena México on Friday nights. On Friday June 29, CMLL held their annual Infierno el en Ring super show, replacing the regular Super Viernes show. Some of the matches from Super Viernes were taped for CMLL's weekly shows that aired in Mexico the week following the Super Viernes show. The shows featured various professional wrestling matches with different wrestlers involved in pre-existing scripted feuds or storylines. Wrestlers portray either heels or faces as they follow a series of tension-building events, which culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches. Being a professional wrestling event matches are not won legitimately; they are instead won via predetermined outcomes to the matches that is kept secret from the general public.

Lady Afrodita is a Mexican luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler currently working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) portraying a tecnico wrestling character. Lady Afrodita's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans.

Dalys la Caribeña is a Panamanian luchadora, or female professional wrestler currently working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). Her name appears in print as Dalys la Caribeña, Dalys, Dallys and Dalis but all refer to the same person. Her name means Daly "The Caribbean Girl". She is a second-generation wrestler, her father is a retired wrestler turned wrestling promoter in Panama, her brother wrestles in Mexico under the ring name Veneno and she is related through marriage to Negro Casas to the extended Casas wrestling family.

<i>Pequeño Reyes del Aire</i> Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre tournament

The Pequeño Reyes del Aire Tournament is an annual wrestling tournament promoted by the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and has been held since 2007, holding two tournaments in 2012, and one every other year. The tournament includes a varying number of wrestlers, competing in a Torneo cibernetico match, essentially a multi-man elimination match with the last competitor remaining is declared that year's Pequeño Rey del Aire and is given a trophy. The match is based on CMLL's Reyes del Aire tournament which has an identical purpose, format and award. The winner is not normally awarded with a match for the CMLL World Mini-Estrella Championship or the Mexican National Lightweight Championship, the two Mini-Estrellas championships that CMLL promotes, as a direct result of their tournament victory but has as times been used to build but either a championship match or storylines between rival wrestlers.
