Marco Antonio Solís Sosa is a Mexican musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer. Born and raised in Ario de Rosales, Michoacán, Solís began his musical career at the age of six, performing with his brother Joel Solís as Los Hermanitos Solís. In 1975, he co-founded Los Bukis, of which he was the lead vocalist, songwriter and guitarist. The band split up after nearly two decades of success, with Solís pursuing a solo career. Solís released his debut solo album, En Pleno Vuelo, in 1996 by Fonovisa Records.
Juan Luis Morera Luna, best known by his stage name Wisin, is a Puerto Rican reggaeton rapper, singer and record producer, best known as a member of the reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. Wisin is noted for his unique and aggressive style of rapping.
Regional Mexican Airplay is a record chart published by Billboard magazine. It was established by the magazine on October 8, 1994, with "La Niña Fresa" by Banda Zeta being the first number-one song on the chart. The chart mainly focuses on the styles of music from the different rural regions of Mexico such as mariachi, norteño, and banda, as well as the Mexican-American community in the United States such as Tejano. These genres are collectively referred to as "regional Mexican" under the Latin music umbrella. This chart features only singles or tracks and like most Billboard charts, is based on airplay; the radio charts are compiled using information tracked by from Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems (BDS), which electronically monitors radio stations in more than 140 markets across the United States. The audience charts cross-reference BDS data with listener information compiled by the Arbitron ratings system to determine the approximate number of audience impressions made for plays in each daypart. The current number-one song on the chart is "Buscandole A La Suerte" by Julion Alvarez y Su Norteno Banda.

The chart was established in June 1985 and originally listed the top twenty-five best-selling albums of mariachi, tejano, norteño, and grupero, which are all subgenres of regional Mexican music. The genre is considered by musicologists as "the biggest-selling Latin music genre in the United States", and represented the fastest-growing Latin genre in the United States after tejano music entered the mainstream market during its 1990s golden age.
"¡Basta Ya!" is a song by Puerto Rican singer Olga Tañón from her fourth studio album, Nuevos Senderos (1996). The song was written and produced by Marco Antonio Solís. It was released as the lead single from the album in 1996. "A ballad, the song is about unrequited love and marked a musical departure from Tañón's merengue recordings. The song was nominated for Pop Song of the Year at the 1997 Lo Nuestro Awards. Commercially, it topped both the Billboard Hot Latin Songs and Latin Pop Airplay charts in the United States. A music video for the song was filmed and features a couple's failing relationship.
"Hasta Que Te Conocí" is a song by Mexican singer-songwriter Juan Gabriel. It was released in 1986 as the third single from his studio album Pensamientos. Written and produced by Gabriel, the song's lyrics focus on a protagonist learning the meaning of suffering after meeting a lover who mistreats him. It peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot Latin Song chart. A live version of the song was included on his album En el Palacio de Bellas Artes (1990) which peaked at number ten on the Hot Latin Songs chart.
Entren Los Que Quieran is the fourth studio album by Puerto Rican hip hop band Calle 13, released on November 22, 2010. Recorded in the wake of controversial events surrounding the group, the album contains more political lyrical themes not discussed on previous Calle 13 releases. It also expands upon the musical experimentation demonstrated in the group's albums Residente o Visitante (2007) and Los de Atrás Vienen Conmigo (2008). The record's compositions feature various musical styles, including rock, ska, merengue, reggaeton, and Bollywood music.

Calibre 50 is a regional Mexican band. Formed in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, in 2010 by Edén Muñoz, the band has had several lineup changes, with the current roster consisting of lead vocalist Tony Elizondo, diatonic accordionist José Mario "Marito" Gastélum, twelve-string guitarist Oscar Arrendondo, sousaphonist Alejandro Gaxiola, and drummer Erick García.
Siggno is an American norteño/tejano band formed in Santa Rosa, in 2000. The group released their debut album Al Principio in 2001 under Crown Records. The album's release followed Tejano music's post-golden age era, where artist's music were indistinguishable from their counterparts, while album sales flattened. Music critics praised Siggno's progressive sounds and entertaining performances during their concerts. Their second album, Por Amor (2002) received a BMI Music Award and Latin Grammy Award nomination. The group's album Six Pack (2008) marked Siggno's first entry on a music chart. Their album Que Harias (2010) provided Siggno their first top 10 album on the US Billboard Regional Mexican Albums chart.
Hecho en México is the sixteenth studio album by Mexican singer Alejandro Fernández, released on February 14, 2020, through Universal Music México. It was produced by Áureo Baqueiro and features collaborations with fellow regional Mexican artists Christian Nodal and Vicente Fernández. On July 16, 2021, he released a special edition of the album with six more songs including a second collaboration with Nodal and a song with Mexican band Calibre 50.
Edmundo Gómez Moreno, better known by his stage name Raymix, is a Mexican musician and aerospace engineer. Nicknamed El Rey de la Electrocumbia, Raymix started his music career in the early 2010s, when he joined a trance project called Light & Wave with two other Mexican musicians. Their song "Feeling the City" was featured on the Armin van Buuren radio show A State of Trance. In 2013, Raymix was invited to work in a NASA educative internship, where he helped to develop a satellite.
