Home Cooking in the UK is a live album by drummer Sunny Murray. It was recorded in April 2003 during a tour of England, and was released in 2004 by Foghorn Records. On the album, Murray is joined by saxophonist Tony Bevan and bassist John Edwards. [1]
Writing for All About Jazz , Germein Linares praised the "subtleties and details" of Murray's playing, and commented: "The three tunes appear as spontaneous creations, with an overall mood and tone towards the mysterious and the unknown. In creating these settings, the music at times floats and soars with remarkable ease, assured by Murray's support and Bevan's hefty tone. Just as Murray can provide rhythm and flair as he engages and disengages the group, so does bassist Edwards, a pleasant surprise on Home Cooking in the UK. Often finding his own melody while maintaining the overall trajectory of the group, Edwards excels in these improvised scenes... a worthwhile experience for fans of Sunny Murray and connoisseurs of fine freedoms." In a review for Paris Transatlantic, Nate Dorward described Bevan's and Edwards' playing on 'Split Lip' as "bouncing notes around like a rubber ball." Regarding 'Home Cooking', he commented: "Murray comes in on brushes, at which point Bevan starts punching out little riffs and things almost get swinging... he and Edwards get in a nice feedback loop, throwing increasingly agitated phrases at each other." 'Split Decision' is described as having "an r'n'b tinge... shades of David Murray as well as Ayler," with Murray "bashing away righteously." Dorward concluded: "Check it out." [3]

The Copenhagen Tapes is an album by American free jazz saxophonist Albert Ayler consisting of six tracks recorded live at the Club Montmartre in Copenhagen, Denmark on September 3, 1964 plus three tracks recorded in a studio by Danish Radio in Copenhagen on September 10 of the same year. The album was released in 2002 by Ayler Records. The live tracks were also included on disc two of the 2004 compilation album Holy Ghost released by Revenant Records, and were also reissued in 2017 on Copenhagen Live 1964, released by hatOLOGY. In 2016, the three studio tracks were included in the album European Radio Studio Recordings 1964 released by hatOLOGY.
Sunny Murray, also known as Sunny Murray Quintet, is an album by American free jazz drummer Sunny Murray, his second as a leader. It was recorded in New York City in January, 1966, and released on the ESP-Disk label. The album features Murray on drums along with alto saxophonists Byard Lancaster and Jack Graham, trumpeter Jacques Coursil, and bassist Alan Silva. A remastered version, which includes an interview between Murray and ESP founder Bernard Stollman, was issued by ESP-Disk in 2007.

In 2008, it was reissued on LP by Eremite Records. On the album, Murray is joined by flutist Becky Friend, saxophonists Ronnie Beer and Kenneth Terroade, trumpeter Bernard Vitet, violinist Alan Silva, pianist François Tusques, and bassist Beb Guérin. In addition, poet H. Le Roy Bibbs joins the group on one track.

It was recorded on August 30, 1980, at Jazz Festival Willisau in Switzerland, and was released by Hat Hut Records in 1981. The album was reissued on CD in 1994 and 2012 with the title Jump Up, omitting "What To Do About," the sole track by Murray, and adding another by Lyons. On the album, Lyons and Murray are joined by bassist John Lindberg.

Live at Glenn Miller Café is a live album by saxophonist Arthur Doyle and drummer Sunny Murray. It was recorded in March 2000 at the Glenn Miller Café in Stockholm, Sweden, and was released in 2001 by Ayler Records. Although the album is credited to Doyle and Murray, the first three tracks are a duet between Murray and saxophonist Bengt Frippe Nordström, who died several months after the concert.
The Complete ESP-Disk Recordings is a two-CD compilation album by saxophonist Frank Wright. Issued by ESP-Disk in 2005, it contains two studio albums released by the label during the 1960s: Frank Wright Trio, recorded in 1965 and issued in 1966, featuring bassist Henry Grimes and drummer Tom Price, and Your Prayer, recorded and released in 1967, featuring saxophone Arthur Jones, trumpeter Jacques Coursil, bassist Steve Tintweiss, and drummer Muhammad Ali. The compilation also features a twelve-part interview with Wright, conducted by ESP-Disk founder Bernard Stollman.

On the album, Muñoz is joined by saxophonists Pharoah Sanders and Ravi Coltrane, keyboardist Paul Shaffer, bassists Cecil McBee and Don Pate, and drummer Rashied Ali. The recording is a response to the events of 9-11.
Full Steam Ahead is an album by South African double bassist and composer Harry Miller and his band Isipingo. Featuring five original compositions, it was recorded during 1975–1977 in London, and was released in 2009 by the Canadian label Reel Recordings. On the album, which features several different lineups of the band, Miller is joined by saxophonist Mike Osborne, trumpeters Mark Charig and Mongezi Feza, trombonists Nick Evans, Malcolm Griffiths, and Paul Neiman, pianists Frank Roberts, Keith Tippett, and Stan Tracey, and drummer Louis Moholo. Issued 26 years after Miller's death, Full Steam Ahead was Isipingo's third album.
