Varadero, also referred to as Playa Azul, is a resort town in the province of Matanzas, Cuba, and one of the largest resort areas in the Caribbean. Varadero Beach was rated one of the world's best beaches in TripAdvisor's Traveler's Choice Awards of 2019, ranking at number two. Common activities include fishing and excursions to Matanzas, Cárdenas, and the Península de Zapata.
Alum Bay is a bay near the westernmost point of the Isle of Wight, England, within close sight of the Needles rock formation. Of geological interest and a tourist attraction, the bay is noted for its multi-coloured sand cliffs. The waters and adjoining seabed form part of the Needles Marine Conservation Zone and the shore and heath above are part of the Headon Warren and West High Down Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Pancake Bay Provincial Park was established in 1968 by Ontario Parks. It is a recreation-class Provincial Park created to help preserve the fragile beach dune ecology. Pancake Bay Provincial Park has one of the highest visitor rates of all the Provincial Parks in the north-east region, and the highest number of campsites. There are 325 campsites, including 160 with electricity. There are three comfort stations. Yurt camping is available in the park. Group camping sites are also available.

Aligned north to south, the northern portion has generally more expensive low-density housing, whereas the southern portion possesses higher-density housing and considerable commercial development. Long Beach Island is less than one mile away from mainland New Jersey. The primary industries include tourism, fishing, and real estate. The only access point to the island by land is a single causeway.
Belitung is an island on the east coast of Sumatra, Indonesia in the Java Sea. It covers 4,800.6 km2 (1,853.5 sq mi), and had a population of 271,869 in 2014. Administratively, it forms part of the province of Bangka-Belitung Islands. The island is known for its pepper and for its tin. It was in the possession of the United Kingdom from 1812 until Britain ceded control of the island to the Netherlands in the Anglo-Dutch Treaty of 1824. Its main town is Tanjung Pandan. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization has declared 17 tourist attractions in the Belitung Geopark as world geoparks.
The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, A Fairmont Managed Hotel is one of the grandest and most famous hotels in Bermuda, located in Pembroke Parish just outside the City of Hamilton. It also happens to be the oldest hotel in the Fairmont chains. One of the largest in Bermuda, it has over 400 rooms. It is one of two Fairmont Hotels on the island, the second being the Fairmont Southampton, which was originally opened as the Southampton Princess.

Presenting over sixty free shows annually on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the North Carolina School of the Arts Summer Performance Festival, funded by the State of North Carolina, is produced, performed and directed by students, alumni, faculty and staff of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA). The family-friendly festival offers drama, music, dance and film performances for six consecutive weeks, late June to early August, at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo, North Carolina. Since its inception in 1997, the summer festival has become an important cultural resource to residents and visitors of North Carolina and an enriching educational and training experience for emerging and professional artists of UNCSA. In 2007, the festival audience grew to a record attendance of over 11,000.
Cala Comte is a beach in the south west of the Spanish island of Ibiza. It is in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia and is 5.0 miles (8.0 km) west of the village of Sant Agustí des Vedrà.
Cala Vadella is a small cove and beach resort the western seaboard of the Spanish island of Ibiza. The beach resort is in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia and is 14.5 miles (23.3 km) west of the town of Ibiza town. The nearest village of Sant Josep de sa Talaia is 5.3 miles (8.5 km) east of the beach resort. In 2012 Cala Vadella is one of the 12 blue flag beaches on Ibiza.
The 2014 Syncrude National was held from March 12 to 16 at the MacDonald Island Park in Fort McMurray, Alberta as part of the 2013–14 World Curling Tour. The event was the third men's Grand Slam event of the season. The event was held in a round robin format, and the purse for the event was CAD$100,000.
The 2019 BOOST National was held from December 10 to 15, at the Conception Bay South Arena in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland and Labrador. It was the third Grand Slam and second major of the 2019–20 season.
The COVID-19 pandemic was confirmed by diagnostic test to have reached the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda on Wednesday, the 18 of March 2020; and the individuals arrived from the UK and US. Those individuals had been traced to back to the fourth and sixth of March. This was the first it was confirmed and some believe that COVID-19 could have been on island undetected with asymptomatic individuals before that time.
The 2022 Scotties BC Women's Curling Championship, the provincial women's curling championship for British Columbia, was held from January 5 to 9 at the Kamloops Curling Club in Kamloops, British Columbia. The winning Mary-Anne Arsenault team will represent British Columbia at the 2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The event will be held in conjunction with the 2022 BC Men's Curling Championship, the provincial men's curling championship.
