Horseys Pond is a freshwater reservoir in Laurel, Delaware. [2] [3] It is located to the south of Laurel, with Little Creek linking the pond to the Broad Creek Hundred. [4] [5]

The park, about 5 miles (8 km) north of the county seat of Media, offers many recreational activities, such as hiking, biking, fishing, and picnicking. Ridley Creek passes through the park. Delaware Route 24 (DE 24) is a state highway located in Sussex County, Delaware. The route runs from Maryland Route 348 (MD 348) at the Maryland border east of Sharptown, Maryland, east to an intersection with DE 1 in Midway, between Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. Along the way, DE 24 passes through Laurel, Millsboro, and Long Neck. DE 24 intersects U.S. Route 13 (US 13) in Laurel, US 113/DE 20 in Millsboro, and DE 5 and DE 23 in Long Neck. The route runs concurrent with DE 30 between Mission and Millsboro. DE 24 features an alternate alignment, DE 24 Alternate, that runs to the north of the route from US 113 in Stockley to DE 24 near Midway. DE 24 was built as a state highway throughout the 1920s, with completion of the entire route by 1931. DE 24 was assigned onto its current alignment by 1936. DE 24 Alt. was designated by 2006.

Indian River Hundred is a hundred in Sussex County, Delaware, United States. Indian River Hundred was formed in 1706 from Lewes & Rehoboth Hundred. Its primary community is now Angola on Delaware Route 24, but maritime transportation dominated during the colonial and early federal era. Thus settlers as early as 1794 built a nearby chapel St. George's to serve their spiritual needs and as a community gathering place. By 1821 they paid to share a pastor with St. Peter's Church in Lewes, Delaware, as well as Old Christ Church, Prince George's Chapel in Dagsboro, Delaware and St. Pauls' Church in Georgetown, Delaware. By the late 20th century, fishing and farming had declined but tourism had increased, so the parish was linked to All Saints' Church in Rehoboth Beach.
