The Horsham Football & Netball Club, nicknamed the Demons, is an Australian rules football and netball club based in the city of Horsham, Victoria. The football team competes in the Wimmera Football League (WFL). [1]
The Horsham Demons, formed in 1892, were one of three foundation clubs which joined the Wimmera District Football Association in 1902 and have played in the WFL since its formation in 1937. [2]
Despite claiming only one premiership before 1960, Horsham has become easily the most successful club in the WFL, winning an unprecedented ten successive flags from 2003 to 2012.

It is the most populous city in Wimmera, and the main administrative centre for the Rural City of Horsham local government area. It is the eleventh largest city in Victoria after Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Wodonga, Mildura, Shepparton, Warrnambool, Traralgon, and Wangaratta.
Apsley is a small town in Victoria, Australia. It is on the Wimmera Highway, in the Shire of West Wimmera, 420 kilometres north-west of Melbourne, and 7 kilometres east of the South Australian border. The town is named after Apsley House in London. It was surveyed in 1851 and proclaimed in 1852, a Post Office opening on 1 January 1854 replacing that of Lake Wallace nearer what is now Edenhope serving the grazing population.
