Hossam Eisa is an Egyptian politician and academic. He served as deputy prime minister and minister of higher education of Egypt from July 2013 until 1 March 2014.
Eisa holds a PhD in law from the University of Sorbonne in France. [1] [2]
Eisa was a member of the Nasserist Party. [1] He worked as a law professor and taught at Ain Shams University in Egypt and at the Algerian universities. [2] [3] Following the ouster of former President Hosni Mobarak,he became one of the founders of the Egyptian Initiative for Prevention of Corruption in 2011. [4] During the same period he was the attorney of Asmaa Mahfouz,an Egyptian activist who had organized the 18-day uprising,forcing the ouster of President Mobarak in February 2011. [5]
He cofounded the Constitution Party with Mohamed El Baradei in April 2012. [6] He served as the head of party's steering committee. [7] However,he left the party in March 2013 due to internal conflicts. [8]
On 16 July 2013,Eisa was appointed both deputy prime minister for social justice and minister of higher education in the cabinet led by Prime Minister Hazem Al Beblawi. [1] [2] He succeeded Mostafa Mussad as minister of higher education. [9] Eisa's term as cabinet member ended in February 2014 when the cabinet resigned. [10]

[11] During the Mohammad Morsi era,he was among the major opposition figures and he advocated for the state to play a determining role in leading the economy,criticizing neo-liberal policies of the Qandil government. Hamdeen Sabahi is an Egyptian politician and journalist. He is currently the leader of the Egyptian Popular Current and a co-leader of the National Salvation Front. An opposition activist during the Anwar Sadat and Hosni Mubarak eras,Sabahi was jailed 17 times during their presidencies for political dissidence. He was an immediate supporter and participant of the 2011 Egyptian revolution. Sabahi entered the 2012 Egyptian presidential race in which he finished third place with 21.5% of the vote trailing the second place candidate Ahmed Shafiq by a margin of 700,000 votes. In the 2014 presidential election he was one of just two candidates. He ran second with less than 4% of the vote. Abdel Fattah el-Sisi was declared the winner after attracting 22 million of the nearly 23 million votes cast. Sisi was sworn into office as President of Egypt on 8 June 2014.
The Egyptian Constituent Assembly of 2012 (CA) is the committee for the creation of a new Constitution of Egypt. The Muslim Brotherhood had announced that the Constituent Assembly would vote on the constitution on 29 November 2012. The Constituent Assembly will be able to avoid its possible dissolution by voting on the constitution earlier than the release of a ruling by the Supreme Constitutional Court on the assembly's legitimacy;the ruling was expected to occur on 2 December 2012. The court has postponed the verdict in response to protests. The Constituent Assembly approved the constitution on 29 November 2012;more than 16 hours were spent voting on its articles.
Reem Maged is an Egyptian journalist and former host of the popular Baladna bel Masry talk show on Egyptian ONTV. Maged's popularity and renown have dramatically increased due to her critical coverage of political events since the 2011 Egyptian revolution,as well as her hosting of individuals on her show that are critical of the military Supreme Council of the Armed Forces,or SCAF,that has ruled Egypt since the resignation of Hosni Mubarak. She has been described as "Egypt’s best and arguably most vocal [female voice] in delivering the true happenings to the country on a nightly basis." Maged stopped presenting the show in 2013 and in 2014 joined a hunger strike campaign in solidarity with political prisoners.
Mostafa El Said Mussad is the former minister of higher education of Egypt. He was part of the Qandil Cabinet and is a member of the Freedom and Justice Party. He is described as Islamist engineering professor by Ashraf Khaled.

Hazem El Beblawi is an Egyptian economist and politician who was interim prime minister of Egypt from 2013 until 1 March 2014. Previously he served as deputy prime minister and minister of finance in 2011. After the ouster of President Mohammed Morsi and his government in July 2013,Beblawi was named interim prime minister. On 24 February 2014,Beblawi announced his resignation.

Mostafa Kamal Madbouly is the Prime Minister of Egypt,serving since 2018. He was appointed by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to succeed Sherif Ismail following his government's resignation in the wake of Sisi's re-election. Madbouly also served in Sherif Ismail's cabinet as Minister of Housing,and had also briefly served as acting prime minister.
