Hottingen (Swiss Standard German : Hottinge) [1] is a quarter in District 7 of Zurich. [2] It was formerly a municipality of its own, but was incorporated into Zurich in 1893. [3] [4]

The quarter has a population of 10,100 in an area of 5.05 square kilometres (1.95 sq mi).[ citation needed ]

Hottingen is located on the southern side of the Adlisberg. The upper part of Hottingen is called Dolder and is a residential quarter of Zurich.[ citation needed ]

Points of interests include, besides Adlisberg, the Villa Tobler, its park and the Theater an der Winkelwiese.[ citation needed ]
