Hsu Li Yang (born 1972) is a Professor of Infectious Diseases and the first Vice Dean of Global Health in Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health at the National University of Singapore. [1] He is also a Singaporean chess International Master.
Professor Hsu received his MBBS from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 1998 and his Masters in Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2007. He also has a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from the Institute of Tropical and Preventive Medicine and a Specialist Accreditation in Infectious Diseases from NUS.
Professor Hsu won the national Singaporean Chess Championship in 1992 and 1993 when he was an undergraduate. He represented Singapore three times in Chess Olympiads (1992, 1994, 2000). [2] His current[ when? ] FIDE rating is 2427.

Jason Goh Koon-Jong is a Singapore chess International Master. He won the national Singaporean Chess Championship in 2004. Represented Singapore three times in Chess Olympiads. His most recent FIDE rating is 2408 in April 2015.
Giam Choo Kwee was a Singaporean chess player. He received the FIDE titles of International Master (IM) in 1976 and International Arbiter in 1983. He won the national Singaporean Chess Championship in 1972 and 1973 and represented Singapore four times in Chess Olympiads. At the time of his death, his official FIDE rating was 1820.

Paul Anantharajah Tambyah, is a Singaporean doctor and professor of infectious diseases, a politician, and a writer. He is President of the Asia Pacific Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infection and also President of the International Society for Infectious Diseases. He is also the Chairman of the Singapore Democratic Party, a position he has held since September 2017.
Yee-Sin Leo is a Singaporean physician. Leo is the executive director of the National Centre for Infectious Diseases and researches emerging infectious diseases. She has been in charge of Singapore's response to several outbreaks, including Nipah, SARS and COVID-19. In 2020, she was selected as one of the BBC's top 100 Women.
Tin Jingyao is a Singaporean chess grandmaster. He is a five-time winner of the Singapore Chess Championship and has represented Singapore in the Chess Olympiad.
