It is an important source that provides the drinking water to the metropolitan city Karachi.

Sibi is a district in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. The main mountain ranges are Zen, Bambore and Dungan. The climate and topography of Sibi District is quite varied compared to the other districts of Balochistan. It is also known as the "hotspot" of Pakistan where the temperatures in the summer has exceeded 52.6 °C (126.7 °F). Until 2013 the district had two sub-divisions, Sibi and Lehri, further organized into Tehsils and sub-tehsils: Sibi, Lehri, Kutmandi and Sangan. Lehri was rejoined with Sibi district in 2018.

Hub is a city and capital of the Hub District in Pakistan's Balochistan province. It is the 49th largest city of Pakistan by population, according to the 2017 census, and is also Balochistan's fourth-largest city. Hub is an industrial city and its original name was Hub Chowki because once there was a police and customs check post, named Nakahi. After the development of factories and many other industries, the town was renamed as Hub. It is one of the largest industrial centres of Balochistan, and, because of its proximity to Karachi, is becoming a commuter town of the Karachi metropolitan area.

NTV is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, alongside Lincoln-licensed Fox affiliate KFXL-TV, and operates from studios on Nebraska Highway 44 east of Axtell, about 14 miles (23 km) south of Kearney, with a secondary studio and news bureau at the Conestoga Mall in Grand Island.
