Sowmya Sathyanarayana, better known by her stage name Soundarya, was an Indian actress known for her works primarily in Telugu cinema. Cyanide is an Indian 2006 Kannada-language drama film written and directed by A. M. R. Ramesh. The plot of the film set in and around Bangalore from 1st to 20th August 1991, deals with incidents surrounding the assassins of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. It stars Ravi Kale as Sivarasan, the mastermind of the assassination. Malavika Avinash, Tara, Rangayana Raghu in pivotal roles. The supporting cast features Avinash, Nassar and Suresh Heblikar. The film was partially re-shot/dubbed in Tamil as Kuppi.
A. K. 47 is an Indian Kannada-language action film, directed by Om Prakash Rao, starring Shiva Rajkumar, Chandni, Om Puri and Girish Karnad in pivotal roles. The music was scored by Hamsalekha. The film was simultaneously made in Telugu with the same name, starring Saikumar, with most of the cast and crew retained from the Kannada version. This film was remade in Hindi with the same title starring Kannada actor Aditya in his acting debut. The movie is said to be the first Kannada movie to collect 2 crores (gross) in the first week of its release. It went on to become a cult hit. This was the first movie to use DTS in Kannada film industry.
Huchcha (transl. Mad) is a 2001 Indian Kannada-language romantic action drama film directed by Om Prakash Rao, starring Sudeep and Rekha Vedavyas. The film, a remake of the 1999 Tamil film Sethu, released to positive reviews and brought lot of fame to Sudeep. Earlier the script was rejected by Upendra and Shiva Rajkumar. The film Huccha 2 is not a continuation of this film but has a similar theme.

Rose is a 2014 Kannada romantic drama film starring Ajay Rao and Shravya. The film is directed by Sahana Murthy and produced by Tarun Shivappa. The music for the film is composed by Anoop Seelin. The film is set for a simultaneous release in India and Australia on 4 July 2014.
Crazy Star is a 2014 Indian Kannada language romantic thriller film directed, edited and composed by V. Ravichandran and produced by his home studio Eshwari Dreams.
