Hugh Davies (born 28 September 2004) is a professional Australian rules footballer who plays for Fremantle. [1] He also plays for Peel Thunder in the Western Australian Football League (WAFL). Davies went to school at Christ Church Grammar School in Perth. [2]

WAFL career

Peel Thunder

After being drafted by Fremantle, Davies left Claremont Football Club and started to play for Peel Thunder Football Club as they are the WAFL team for Fremantle. Davies debuted for Peel in their game against East Fremantle Football Club, at Lane Group Stadium, in Round 1 of the 2023 WAFL season. He collected 8 disposals in their 4-point win. [3] Davies finished his first season playing for Peel Thunder with 19 league matches under his belt including a Grand Final loss to East Fremantle. [4]

After showing promising signs in the COLTS for Claremont, Fremantle chose Davies at pick no. 33 in the 2022 AFL national draft, which was Fremantle's first pick in the draft. [5]
