Hunter Najm is an American football quarterback for the Bowling Green Falcons.

Early life and high school

Najm attended high school at Aliso Niguel located in Aliso Viejo, California. During his senior season, he had 1,548 passing yards and 13 touchdowns, whiling adding 333 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on the ground. He played in the Orange County All-State game at the conclusion of the season. [1]

College career

Washington State

Najm enrolled in January of 2024 and participated in spring practice. He did not appear in a game during the 2024 season, and retained his redshirt status. [2]

Bowling Green

On April 14, 2025, Najm transferred to Bowling Green State University to play for the Bowling Green Falcons. [3] Heading into his freshman season in 2025, he entered as the teams fourth-string quarterback behind transfer quarterback Drew Pyne, Lucius Anderson III and Baron May. Due to injuries of all three quarterbacks, Najm made he collegiate debut in week 8 against Kent State. Pyne returned to the starting lineup the following week against Buffalo, but Najm relieved Pyne in the second half. In week 10 against Eastern Michigan, Najm made his first collegiate start, becoming the fourth starting quarterback of the season for the Falcons. Najm completed 11 of 15 passes for 129 yards with one touchdown and interception in the 27–21 loss. [4]
