High school career

Hicks attended Muskego High School in Muskego, Wisconsin. During his career, he had 355 tackles and nine interceptions. [1] As a senior, he was the Wisconsin Gatorade Football Player of the Year. He committed to University of Wisconsin-Madison to play college football. [2] [3] [4]

College career

Wohler played in all 13 games as a true freshman at Wisconsin in 2021, recording 17 tackles and one sack. He played in only six games with one start his sophomore year due to injury and finished the year with 21 tackles and one interception. Wohler returned to Wisconsin as a starter in 2023. [5] [6]

The 2014 Capital One Bowl is an American college football bowl game that was played on January 1, 2014, at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida. The 2014 Wisconsin Badgers football team represented the University of Wisconsin–Madison in the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Badgers were led by second-year head coach Gary Andersen, were members of the new West Division of the Big Ten Conference, and played their home games at Camp Randall Stadium. They finished the season 11–3, 7–1 in Big Ten play to be champions of the West Division. As champions of the West Division, they played East Division champions Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship Game where they lost 59-0.
