Hysni Maxhuni (born 23 March 1942) is a Kosovan coach and former footballer.
Maxhuni played for his hometown club Trepça in the 1960s when barely Albanians played for Yugoslav teams due to oppressive laws. [1]
In 1975, he was appointed as an assitant manager for Trepça. In 1977, he managed the team together with Ajet Shosholli and reached the final of the 1977–78 Yugoslav Cup. [2]
During 1989–1990, Maxhuni was the head coach of Prishtina of the Yugoslav Second League. [3]
Maxhuni was the head coach of Shkëndija of the Macedonian Second Football League in 1995. [4]
From 1995 until 1996, he managed Novi Pazar. [5]
In 2003, he was the manager of Drita for a short period. [6]
His grandson, Edon Maxhuni, is a professional basketball player. [7]
Keeping with the sporting heritage, Maxhuni's grandfather Hysni Maxhuni was a well-known football coach.
