Written by John Lennon and credited to Lennon–McCartney, it was released as the B-side to the single "Hello, Goodbye" and on the Magical Mystery Tour EP and album. In the film, the song underscores a segment in which the band mime to the recording at a deserted airfield.

The song was a huge success in Europe, topping the charts in many countries there. It was a number 2 hit in the UK. In the U.S, the song only reached number 96.
I'm Your Man is the eighth studio album by Canadian singer Leonard Cohen, released on February 2, 1988 by Columbia Records. The album marked Cohen's further move to a more modern sound, with many songs having a synthesizer-oriented production. It soon became the most successful album which Cohen had released in the US, and it reached number one in several European countries, transforming Cohen into a best-selling artist.
Strictly Commercial is a compilation album by Frank Zappa. It was released in 1995, two years after his death. The album was named as part of a 2011 lawsuit by Gail Zappa towards Rykodisc, claiming the label released several vault masters without the permission of the Zappa Family Trust on this and other releases, specifically the single edits of some songs, such as the 12" disco Remix of "Dancin' Fool". The disc is currently out of print and has been replaced in Zappa's catalog by the 2016 compilation album ZAPPAtite.
"Yang Yang" is a song by Yoko Ono, originally released in 1973 on the album Approximately Infinite Universe, and on the B-side to "Death of Samantha". The song was later included on Ono's compilation albums Walking on Thin Ice and Onobox. In 2002, as part of the ongoing ONO remix project, the track was re-released and reached #17 on the US dance charts, nearly 30 years after original release.
"I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man" is a song written and recorded by American musician Prince. It was released as the final single from his ninth studio album Sign o' the Times (1987). It has since been covered by numerous artists.
"Ego Tripping Out" is a 1979 funk-styled dance record released by American soul singer Marvin Gaye, released as a single on the Tamla (Motown) label. The record was originally meant to be the lead single for the singer's aborted Love Man album. However, as the album was scrapped and reworked into In Our Lifetime, the song received further work, before being omitted from the final album tracklist. The single was later included in a 1994 re-release of In Our Lifetime and a 2007 re-release deluxe edition featured two different alternate mixes for the sessions of In Our Lifetime as well as the original Love Man single of it.
"In Your Room" is Depeche Mode's fourth and final single from their 1993 album Songs of Faith and Devotion, and the 30th UK single overall, released on 10 January 1994 in the UK and 18 January in the USA. "Rabbit in Your Headlights" is a song by British electronic duo UNKLE. It was released as the lead single from their debut album Psyence Fiction (1998). The song features vocals from British musician and Radiohead member Thom Yorke. The song was written by Yorke and UNKLE member Josh Davis and produced by UNKLE, the track heavily utilizes samples from other songs. The track takes its title from a quote from the thriller film Jacob's Ladder (1990); dialogue from the film is also one of many samples on the song. The song also appears to sample the percussion from Talk Talk's "New Grass" from their album Laughing Stock (1991).
"Velvet Goldmine" is a song by English singer-songwriter David Bowie. Originally recorded on 11 November 1971 during the sessions for his 1972 album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, the song was left off the album and subsequently released as a B-side of the UK re-release of "Space Oddity" in 1975, which went to number 1 in the UK singles charts and gave Bowie his first UK chart topper. Bowie, who had moved to LA at the time of the release said later of the song's inclusion "The whole thing came out without my having a chance to listen to the mix. Somebody else had mixed it – an extraordinary move".
"One Day in Your Life" is a song by American recording artist Anastacia from her second studio album, Freak of Nature. Co-written with and produced by Sam Watters and Louis Biancaniello, the song was released as the album's second single. It was also the only single released in the United States from the album, peaking at number one on the Hot Dance Club Play chart.
"Mixed Bizness" is a song by American musician Beck. It was released as the second single from his 1999 album Midnite Vultures. Released in 2000, the CD single included five non-album tracks/remixes. It peaked at number 34 in the UK Singles Chart. The Glasgow-based night club and agency Mixed Bizness was named after this song. The song was featured in an episode of Malcolm in the Middle and American Dad.

It features album track "Surrender" as its b-side, along with an extended remix of "Soul Deep", which is taken from their 1987 remix album Dance Passion. The single was only issued in Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg and The Netherlands. A music video was also created for the song, directed by Jeroen Kamphoff.

The song was written and originally produced by Michael, and was released solely in the United States and Australia. No music video was made for the song. The lyrics are apparently addressed to a woman which the singer is obsessed with; in the final verse, Michael voices her by altering his own voice, in the same style as Prince's imaginary alter ego Camille.

"Don't Lose Your Head" is the third single from the album Elegantly Wasted by INXS. Released in Europe and Japan at the end of 1997. No official release for this in USA. The song was written by Michael Hutchence and Andrew Farriss and recorded by the band in Dublin during the summer of 1996.
"Breathing Your Love" is a song by the Swedish singer Darin featuring vocals by American singer Kat DeLuna and the first single from Darin's fourth studio album, Flashback. The song is co-written by Darin with RedOne, Bilal Hajji and Novel was released to radio stations and as a digital download in Sweden on 8 October 2008. The single was released in Finland and is also the first single from Darin to be released in the United Kingdom, which it was in January 2010. In October 2009 Swedish astronaut Christer Fuglesang took 2 copies of the single into space with him, as his daughter is a Darin fan. A photo of the disc can be seen with earth in the distance on the official Darin website.
