Im a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (UK TV series) British survival reality television game show

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is a British survival reality television game show, created by London Weekend Television (LWT), produced by ITV Studios, and aired live on ITV from Australia. The format sees a group of celebrities living together within an Australian jungle camp, coping with a few creature comforts. Each member not only undertakes in challenges to secure additional food and treats for the group, but also to avoid being voted out by viewers during their stay, with the final episode's votes nominating who wins a series and become crowned as "Jungle King/Queen".

ITV (TV network) TV network in the United Kingdom

ITV is a British free-to-air television network with its headquarters in London, it was launched in 1955 as Independent Television under the auspices of the Independent Television Authority to provide competition to BBC Television, that was established in 1932. ITV is also the oldest commercial network in the UK. Since the passing of the Broadcasting Act 1990, its legal name has been Channel 3, to distinguish it from the other analogue channels at the time, namely BBC 1, BBC 2 and Channel 4. In part, the number 3 was assigned because television sets would usually be tuned so that the regional ITV station would be on the third button, with the other stations being allocated to the number within their name.

Ant & Dec British TV presenting duo

They presented the annual Brit Awards in 2001, 2015 and 2016.

On 11 October 2015, a 5-second teaser aired on ITV for the first time, [3] with more short trailers following, with Ant & Dec yelling "Let's get ready to jungle!", a pun on their well-known song "Let's Get Ready to Rhumble". [4]

Lets Get Ready to Rhumble 1994 single

"Let's Get Ready to Rhumble" is a 1994 song by PJ & Duncan AKA, the performing name used by British duo Ant & Dec at the time. The song was released in the United Kingdom on 11 July 1994 as the third single from their debut studio album Psyche. The song was written by Nicky Graham, Deni Lew and Mike Olton, and produced by Nicky Graham. It peaked at number 9 in the UK Singles Chart in 1994, and was later #1 almost two decades after its original chart appearance. The song includes a repeatedly-used sample of Michael Buffer saying his trademark catchphrase.

Geordie Shore's Vicky Pattison won the show on 6 December 2015, with Union J singer George Shelley finishing runner up. [5] [6] This was the second time that a late-entry contestant had won the show, the first being Christopher Biggins in 2007.

Bushtucker trials

The contestants take part in daily trials to earn food. These trials aim to test both physical and mental abilities. The winner is usually determined by the number of stars collected during the trial, with each star representing a meal earned by the winning contestant for their camp mates. As of 2014, the public voted for who took part in the trials via the I'm a Celebrity... app, from iOS devices. From 2015, the public cannot vote via phone, and can also vote via Android devices.

The public voted for who they wanted to face the trial
The contestants decided who would face the trial
The trial was compulsory and neither the public nor celebrities decided who took part

^2 Lady C refused to take part in this bushtucker trial.
^3 This was a head-to-head trial. Since Ferne won, she was allowed to immediately enter the camp; she chose Vicky to join her, meaning Spencer was forced to return to Snake Rock.
^4 This was a head-to-head trial. Since Lady C won, she was allowed to return to Croc Creek, choosing George to take her place in Snake Rock.
^5 Chris, Lady C and Tony were excluded from the trial on medical grounds.
^6 Brian and Lady C were excluded from the trial on medical grounds.
^7 This trial was previously meant for Lady C, however she refused to take part.
^8 Tony was excluded from this trial on medical grounds.

Dingo Dollar challenges

Members from camp will take part in the challenge to win 'Dingo Dollars'. If they win them then they can then take the dollars to the 'Outback Shack', where they can exchange them for camp luxuries with Kiosk Keith. Two options are given and the celebrities can choose which they would like to win. However, to win their luxury, a question is asked to the celebrities still in camp via the telephone box. If the question is answered correctly, the celebrities can take the items back to camp. If wrong, they receive nothing and Kiosk Keith will close the shack.
