It was produced by Maximedia International, with Pond's as the sponsor. The set list featured songs curated from 1960s and 1970s music, including those of Leonard Bernstein, Michel Legrand, Henry Mancini, and Barry Manilow. Gerard Salonga served as conductor and music director, backed by the 15-member ensemble of the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra. It was positively received by music critics, who praised the intimate show, and Velasquez's and Salonga's partnership.
The Dream Again Tour was a two-leg concert tour by Filipina singer Lea Salonga. The tour was titled after her 2020 single, "Dream Again." It was originally intended to run during 2020 under a different headline, but it was postponed in March 2020, shortly after Salonga's performances in Dubai, due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout the 1980s, she also appeared in the Filipino films Like Father, Like Son (1985), Ninja Kids (1986), Captain Barbell (1986), Pik Pak Boom (1988), and Dear Diary (1989).
