Filipino singer and actress Lea Salonga has released twelve studio albums, six live albums, two compilation albums and is involved in at least ten cast recordings. According to Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Salonga has sold 3.5 million certified singles in the United States. [1] At age 10, Salonga recorded her debut album, Small Voice , which was certified Gold in the Philippines. [2] Salonga's 1993 self-titled album made her the first Filipino singer to sign with an international record label. [3]
Salonga is widely recognized as a "Disney Legend" [4] for providing singing voices for two Disney princesses. Through the RIAA, the single "A Girl Worth Fighting For" has been certified Gold, "Reflection" certified Platinum, and "A Whole New World" certified 2× Platinum. [5] She has logged two top 10 albums on Billboard's Classical Crossover Albums chart. [6] In 1990, Salonga scored her first entry on the Official UK Singles chart with "The Last Night Of The World" (a duet with Simon Bowman) peaking at No. 81. [7] In 2008, the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI) honored her with the prestigious Dangal ng Musikang Pilipino award, recognizing her remarkable achievements. [8]

Maria Lea Carmen Imutan Salonga, is a Filipino singer and actress. Known primarily for her work in theatre, she has starred in musicals on Broadway and in the West End. Her accolades include a Tony Award and a Laurence Olivier Award, in addition to nominations for two Grammy Awards. She was conferred with the Presidential Medal of Merit in 1990 and the Order of Lakandula in 2007, and she was honored as a Disney Legend in 2011.

Nina Live! is a live album and the third album by Filipina singer Nina, released in the Philippines on February 23, 2005, by Warner Music Philippines. The original release date for the album was scheduled on February 22, 2005, but it was moved a day later due to preparation. Nina has released two successful studio albums that are both influenced by pop-R&B, but behind all the commercial activities, she regularly performs on different bars and gigs. The label wanted to show this side of the singer the best way by releasing a live album. The live album was a commercial success debuting straight to number one on the Philippine Top 10 Albums chart. The album consists of love songs from the 1970s to the 1990s, all of which she has covered live. The live session was recorded on January 30, 2005, at PHI Resto & Bar in Metro Manila.

Camp Rock is the soundtrack album from the 2008 Disney Channel television film of the same name. It features lead vocals from American singers Demi Lovato, Joe, Kevin, Nick Jonas, Roshon Fegan, Renee Sandstrom, Meaghan Martin, and Canadian singers Jordan Francis and Aaryn Doyle. The album was released on June 17, 2008, by Walt Disney Records. Full songs of the album were made available on Camp Rock's official web site for one week beginning on June 10, and the full soundtrack premiered on Radio Disney on June 14, during Planet Premiere: Camp Rock. The soundtrack was released in the United Kingdom one month later on July 14.
Just a Love Song... Christian Bautista Live! is the first live album by Filipino singer Christian Bautista, released on January 24, 2007 in the Philippines by Warner Music Philippines. The album is composed of nineteen cover versions of songs from the 1970s up to the 1990s. It was recorded overnight at Teatrino, Greenhills, backed by basic rhythm section, a grand piano and a string section, while being watched by an audience composing of specially invited fans. It was released both in the Philippines and Indonesia on CD and DVD formats. To date, the album has been certified platinum by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry.

In 2002, Nina released her debut album, Heaven, which became one of the best-selling albums of 2003 in the Philippines, certifying double Platinum by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI). The album earned two consecutive number-one singles on the Philippine charts, the first being "Jealous", which peaked at number one for three weeks, and was succeeded by her own rendition of "Foolish Heart". Lead single, "Make You Mine", peaked at number one in the country, making her the first and only female OPM artist to have three number-one singles in a span of one year. Soul in Love is the fourth studio album and second cover album by Filipino singer Jay R, released in January 2008 by Universal Records. The album showcases his vocal quality and range, singing classical R&B and jazz songs that he grew up listening to, like "After the Love Has Gone", "Always and Forever" and "Ain't No Sunshine". It received highly positive reviews from OPM critics, and won numerous awards for his outstanding vocal performance. It has also helped Jay R gain a new audience and fans.
"Handog ng Pilipino sa Mundo", released in English as "A New and Better Way—The People's Anthem," is a 1986 song recorded in Filipino by a supergroup composed of 15 Filipino artists. The song serves to commemorate the bloodless People Power Revolution which ended President Ferdinand Marcos's 20-year rule, as well as a benefit single for the rehabilitation of Radio Veritas, a public affairs radio station instrumental in the revolution. The lyrics of the song are inscribed on a wall of Our Lady of EDSA Shrine, the center of the revolution.
Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw is the soundtrack to the 2000 Viva Films comedy and romance film of the same name starring Regine Velasquez and Robin Padilla. The soundtrack was released by Viva Records on 2000 in CD and cassette format. With the film's immense success, the single "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw" shot to the top of the charts and the soundtrack sold more than 240,000+ copies in the Philippines.
