INDEVCO Group (Industrial Development Company), an international group of manufacturing companies, manufactures corrugated, plastic and paper packaging, tissue, as well as household, institutional, and personal care disposables. [1] The group has its headquarters in Ajaltoun, Lebanon, and operates in over 65 countries. [2] It employs approximately 9400 people in 60 companies. [3]

Business divisions

The Group is divided into four main divisions: [1] serving Africa, Europe, Middle East, and North America

Their consumer products division comprises five companies, [4] manufacturing consumer products. from factories located in Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. [5]

Their paper containers division is composed of 12 corrugated packaging manufacturing plants in Egypt, Greece, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and United States. [6] [5]

Their flexible packaging division contains 10 manufacturing plants for paper and plastic films and bags in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. [5]

Their paper manufacturing division includes four manufacturing plants in Egypt, Lebanon, and United States. [7] Plants in Egypt and Lebanon produce 100% recycled, partially recycled, and virgin paper, [8] while the ones in the US manufacture recycled and craft linerboard, and recycled corrugated medium. Some lines of business fall outside these four divisions:

Phoenix Group of Companies, operating Phoenix Machinery and Phoenix Energy, Phoenix manufactures machinery for tissue and hygiene converting for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. It also manufactures CNC components and machined parts and refurbishes used machinery. [11]

Phoenix Energy supplies renewable energy products for the Middle East and North Africa., [12] including solar water heaters and biomass boilers [13] [14]

Snaidero Middle East, a joint venture with the Italian furniture manufacturer Snaidero, manufactures kitchen cabinets, and other household furniture. [15]

Neemat Georges Frem is a Lebanese politician, businessman and an incumbent Member of the Lebanese Parliament from Keserwan and Byblos constituency serving from May 2022. He previously held the position under same constituency since 2018 but resigned shortly after the Beirut explosion, on 9 August 2020, as a protest against the corruption and the failure of the Lebanese political system that led to the financial collapse and the destruction of Beirut. FHH mainly specializes in the production of wellness and hygienic products, including sterilized facial tissues, kitchen towels and toilet paper, baby and adult diapers, as well as natural, healthy beverages after obtaining a majority stake in the Arabian natural food and beverage brand, Nai Arabia Food Co, and a recent addition of personal protective equipment (PPE), germ protection solutions and nutrition supplements. FHH employs over 3,000 people of more than 30 different nationalities, operating in Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and serves over 80 markets across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, and the United States.
