History

IPE Global was established in 1998 by a group of London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) alumni with the view of providing expertise for development reforms. [11] [12] The company is ISO 9001:2015 certified with its headquarters located in New Delhi, India. [3] It has seven international offices in UK, Kenya, Ethiopia, Myanmar, Philippines, Nepal and Bangladesh. [13] [14] [15] [16]

In 2011, UK based leading private equity fund; Henderson Group invested in IPE Global with the view of enhancing the developmental goals of the group. [3] In 2014, IPE Global became the first development sector consulting firm from India to acquire a leading UK consulting firm – Triple Line consulting which expanded the group’s global footprints in over 100 countries with offices across Africa, Asia and Europe. COVID-19 control initiatives

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, IPE Global has been engaging in various initiatives and talks geared towards controlling the pandemic across the Indian nation. [44] [45] [46] In 2021, IPE Global and London School of Economics Alumni Delhi with MeraDoc, a pro-bono initiative that connects doctors with COVID-19 patients organized a webinar on Best practices and strategies for handling the COVID-19 pandemic" in Delhi. [47]

The National Security Council (NSC) of India is an executive government agency tasked with advising the Prime Minister's Office on matters of national security and strategic interest. It was established by the former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee on 19 November 1998, with Brajesh Mishra as the first National Security Advisor.

Mission Indradhanush is a health mission of the Government of India. It was launched by Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda on 25 December 2014. The scheme this seeks to drive towards 90% full immunisation coverage of India and sustain the same by year 2022. Vaccination is being provided against eight vaccine-preventable diseases nationally, i.e. Diphtheria, Whooping Cough, Tetanus, Polio, Measles, severe form of Childhood Tuberculosis and Hepatitis B and meningitis & pneumonia caused by Haemophilus influenza type B; and against Rotavirus Diarrhea and Japanese Encephalitis in selected states and districts respectively.

The NITI Aayog serves as the apex public policy think tank of the Government of India, and the nodal agency tasked with catalyzing economic development, and fostering cooperative federalism and moving away from bargaining federalism through the involvement of State Governments of India in the economic policy-making process using a bottom-up approach. <span class="mw-page-title-main">First Vijayan ministry</span> Overview of 14th ministry of Kerala

First Pinarayi Vijayan ministry is the Council of Ministers headed by Pinarayi Vijayan that was formed after the Left Democratic Front (LDF) won the 2016 Kerala Legislative Assembly elections. The Council assumed office on 25 May 2016. The ministry had a total of 19 ministers in the Cabinet at the time of swearing-in compared to 21 ministers in the previous government. Pinarayi Vijayan sworn in as 22nd Chief Minister of Kerala, 12th person to hold this position. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on 3 May 2021 submitted the resignation of the Council of Ministers headed by him to Governor Arif Mohammed Khan after winning a historic victory in the 15th legislative assembly elections by winning 99 of the 140 seats in the Assembly.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Ayushman Bharat Yojana</span> Healthcare programme in India

Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana(PM-JAY) is a national public health insurance scheme of the Government of India that aims to provide free access to health insurance coverage for low income earners in the country. Roughly, the bottom 50% of the country qualifies for this scheme. People using the program access their own primary care services from a family doctor and when anyone needs additional care, PM-JAY provides free secondary health care for those needing specialist treatment and tertiary health care for those requiring hospitalization.

Sonalika Tractors is an Indian agricultural machinery manufacturer. The company was founded in 1995 in Punjab, India. It is the 3rd largest manufacturer of tractors in India, with the capacity to produce 3.00,000 tractors a year, as of June 2017. The company has become the No.1 company in exports from India selling 35,000 tractors in FY 2021-2022 and is active in 150+ countries. It manufactures tractors ranging from 20 HP to 125 HP. B.V.R Subramaniyam is a retired 1988-batch Chhattisgarh cadre Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer who was empaneled as a secretary in the central government and is experienced with conflict zone administration. He is former Principal Secretary Finance department of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. He has previously served in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) under both Manmohan Singh and Narendra Modi. He has been instrumental in containing insurgency in Chhattisgarh in the 2010s. In February 2023, he has taken charge as 4th CEO of NITI Aayog.

National Expert Group on Vaccine Administration for COVID-19 (NEGVAC) is an expert committee constituted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), India to provide advice and guidance on all aspects of COVID-19 vaccination. The committee is also responsible for prioritisation of population groups in the country, deciding procurement and inventory management procedure, selection and delivery of vaccines etc.
