I Thought U Knew is the third album by rapper, Candyman. The album was released on June 29, 1993 for IRS Records and was produced by Candyman himself. The album was a huge commercial and critical failure not making it on any album charts or producing any hit singles.

Candyman (character) Fictional character in the Candyman film series

Daniel Robitaille, colloquially known as Candyman, is a fictional character and the main antagonist of the Candyman film series, originating from Clive Barker's 1985 short story, "The Forbidden". In the film series, he was portrayed as the vengeful ghost of an African-American man who was brutally beaten, mutilated and fed to the bees by having honey smeared on his body for a forbidden interracial love affair in the 19th century and would haunt and kill anyone who called the name of the Candyman before a mirror five times in a row, but sometimes also targeted those who openly denied the urban legend of his continued existence as a ghost. He was portrayed in Candyman (1992), Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh (1995) and Candyman: Day of the Dead (1999) by Tony Todd. He is set to reprise the role in the upcoming Candyman (2020) which would be a direct sequel to the original 1992 film.

Candyman is an upcoming American supernatural slasher film directed by Nia DaCosta and written by Jordan Peele, Win Rosenfeld and DaCosta. It is a direct sequel to the 1992 film of the same name and the fourth film in the Candyman film series, based on the short story, "The Forbidden" by Clive Barker. The film stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Teyonah Parris, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett and Colman Domingo, along with Tony Todd and Vanessa Estelle Williams reprising their roles from the original film.
