Level 42 are an English jazz-funk band formed on the Isle of Wight in 1979. They had a number of UK and worldwide hits during the 1980s and 1990s.
Manfred Mann's Earth Band are an English rock band formed by South African musician Manfred Mann. Their hits include covers of Bruce Springsteen's "For You", "Blinded by the Light" and "Spirit in the Night". After forming in 1971 and with a short hiatus in the late 1980s/early 1990s, the Earth Band continues to perform and tour.
Phantasmagoria is the sixth album by British rock band the Damned, released by MCA Records in July 15, 1985. Special editions were available on white vinyl or picture disc; some versions included a free 12" of their No. 3 hit "Eloise". Go West are an English pop duo, formed in 1982 by lead vocalist Peter Cox and rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Richard Drummie. At the 1986 Brit Awards, they received the Brit Award for British Breakthrough Act. The duo enjoyed popularity between the mid-1980s and the early 1990s and are best known for the international top 10 hits "We Close Our Eyes", "Call Me", "Faithful", and "King of Wishful Thinking"; the last was featured in the 1990 film Pretty Woman.

Despite the album being initially unsuccessful in the charts, it was re-released twice - first in 2004 and again in 2012, both times with different track listings. "Here I Go Again" is a song by British rock band Whitesnake. Originally released on their 1982 album, Saints & Sinners, the power ballad was re-recorded for their 1987 self-titled album. The song was re-recorded again the same year in a new "radio-mix" version, which was released as a single and hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on 10 October 1987, and number nine on the UK Singles Chart on 28 November 1987. The 1987 version also hit number one on the Canadian Singles Chart on 24 October 1987.
Reputation is the thirteenth studio album by British singer Dusty Springfield, and twelfth released. Issued on the Parlophone Records label in the UK and the rest of Europe in June 1990, Reputation was not only Springfield's first studio album in eight years at the time but also her first album to be released in her native UK since 1979's Living Without Your Love. After a string of commercially overlooked albums through the late 1970s and early 1980s Reputation finally managed to resurrect Springfield's career and belatedly resulted in her being re-evaluated and recognised by both music critics and the general public as the UK's foremost 'blue-eyed soul' singer. Mainly produced by Pet Shop Boys and Julian Mendelsohn and recorded in the UK over a period of some eighteen months, Reputation became her highest charting and best-selling album in the UK since 1970's From Dusty with Love, peaking at No. 18 and selling 60,000 copies within two weeks of its release.

Just Like the First Time is the second studio album by American R&B/Soul singer Freddie Jackson. Released in November 1986, the album had one of the longest record runs at number one on the U.S. R&B Albums chart, as it spent 26 weeks at the top of that chart. It also peaked at number 23 on the Billboard 200. It was certified platinum by the RIAA on January 20, 1987. The album yielded three number-one singles on the R&B singles chart with "Have You Ever Loved Somebody", "Tasty Love" and "Jam Tonight". A fourth single, "I Don't Want to Lose Your Love", just missed the top spot, peaking at number two. The fifth single, "Look Around", peaked at number 69. A fourth number one single, "A Little Bit More," a duet with Melba Moore was also featured as an eleventh track on some editions of the album.

Gothica is the thirteenth studio album by the melodic hard rock band Ten. The album was released on 7 July 2017. The album was mixed and mastered by Dennis Ward, while the cover was illustrated by Stan W. Decker. The first single from the album, the track "Paragon", was released on 26 May, while the second one "La Luna Dra-Cu-La", was released on 23 June. The first official music video for "Gothica", was for the track "Travellers", on the 3rd of July 2017, while "Jekyll And Hyde", the second official music video from the album, was released on the 1st of August, 2017. The album proved to be another successful release for the band, reaching the 11th position on BBC's Rock Albums Charts.

It contains most of the band's singles, taken from their studio albums Go West (1985), Dancing on the Couch (1987) and Indian Summer (1992), plus tracks from the remix album Bangs & Crashes (1986) and several tracks that Go West contributed to film soundtracks. Also included are two new songs that were released as singles from the album: a cover of The Miracles' "The Tracks of My Tears", which reached number 16 in the UK Singles Chart, and a remix of Go West's debut hit single, "We Close Our Eyes", which went on to reach number 40.
