Ian Morley Berry (born 3 November 1951) is an Australian Liberal National politician who was the member of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland for Ipswich from 2012 to 2015. [1]
Berry was born in Brisbane and grew up in Sherwood before moving to Ipswich in the early 1980s. [2]
A solicitor by profession and former president of the Queensland Law Society,Berry has a long history of community service which has included serving as a trustee of Ipswich Girls Grammar School,as president of the Booval Cricket Club,as a member of the Ipswich Legal Aid Review Committee and as a patron of the Musketeers Sports Club.
Berry has also coached junior cricket and hockey teams and is a keen athlete,competing in numerous half marathons and fun runs. [3] [ citation needed ]

Ipswich Grammar School is an independent,non-denominational,day and boarding school for boys,located in Ipswich,a city situated on the Bremer River in South East Queensland,Australia. The school is sited on the eponymous Grammar School Hill,with its original buildings occupying the crown of the hill. Australian rules football in Queensland was the first official football code played in 1866. The Colony of Queensland was the second after Victoria to adopt Australian rules football and it became established across the colony as the most popular code however it soon fell into the shadow of British football variants for more than a century. Queensland was awarded the first new club license in the national competition with the Brisbane Bears in 1986,however the Gold Coast based Bears had a negative effect on the growth of the code until the 1993 redevelopment of the Brisbane Cricket Ground (Gabba) which resulted in enormous growth in the code's popularity,and a tripling of average attendances by 1996.

Rachel Genevieve Nolan is a former Australian politician. She was elected as the state member for Ipswich on 17 February 2001. At the time she was Queensland's youngest ever female MP. She held the seat until 26 March 2012.
