Ian Krykorka (born 1975) is a Canadian children's author, based in Toronto, Ontario.
Books published so far include Silver Moon: Stories from Antonín Dvořák's Most Enchanting Operas (Fitzhenry and Whiteside, 2004), based on Rusalka , King and Charcoal Burner and The Devil and Kate , Rusalka Lyrical Fairy-Tale Opera First Performed in Prague 1901 (2005) and Carl the Christmas Carp [1] a holiday story set in Prague. [2] [3] (Orca Book Publishers, 2006).
Previously, he compiled a two-volume guide to the Canadian children's literature industry, The Storymakers. Volume One, Illustrating Children's Books: 72 Artists and Illustrators Talk About Their Work, was published in 1999. This was followed in 2000 with Writing Children's Books: 83 Authors Talk About Their Work.
Krykorka was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to children's book illustrator Vladyana Krykorka. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 1999 with a BA in English and Philosophy and obtained his MA in 2002.
In 2006 he won the Municipal Chapter of Toronto IODE award for Carl the Christmas Carp. The Edmonton Journal described Christmas Carp as, "Boldly illustrated and matter-of-factly told... (a story that,) cuts through all the treacle that tends to infect the holiday season. [3]

Michael Arvaarluk Kusugak is a storyteller and a Canadian Inuk children's writer, who tells stories about Arctic and Inuit culture. He was born April 27, 1948, just north of Chesterfield Inlet, at a point of land called Qatiktalik. That same spring of 1948 he and his family moved to Repulse Bay and in 1960 to Rankin Inlet. In 2019, he lives in Sooke, British Columbia and plans to move to Manitoba in the summer.

Gail Sidonie Sobat is a Canadian writer, educator, singer and performer. She is the founder and coordinator of YouthWrite, a writing camp for children, a non-profit and charitable society. Her poetry and fiction, for adults and young adults, are known for her controversial themes. For 2015, Sobat was one of two writers in residence with the Metro Edmonton Federation of Libraries. She is also the founder of the Spoken Word Youth Choir in Edmonton.

Anne Yvonne Gilbert is a British artist and book illustrator. Her cover design of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's 1983 single "Relax" has been described as "one of the most famous record sleeves of all time". While much of her career since then has focused on illustrating the covers and interiors of popular books, Gilbert has also designed series of stamps produced by the Royal Mail depicting Christmas themes and Arthurian mythology. She illustrated several of the books in the Ologies series, among other children's books.

Kathryn Durst is a Canadian artist and illustrator based in Toronto, Ontario.
Paul Morin is a Canadian artist and children's book illustrator. Morin started painting in 1977 before working as a freelancer throughout the 1980s. In 1990, Morin began his children's book illustrative career and had contributed to twenty books by the mid-2010s. Of his illustrations, Morin won the 1990 Governor General's Award for English-language children's illustration with The Orphan Boy. He also received the Amelia Frances Howard-Gibbon Illustrator's Award for The Orphan Boy in 1991 and The Dragon's Pearl in 1993. As an artist, Morin established multiple art galleries in Ontario from the late 2000s to early 2010s. He also designed the food packaging for the maple leaf cream cookies for Dare Foods.
