Ian Stapleton (born 6 September 1959 in Kingston, Jamaica) is a former Jamaican sprinter. [1]
At the 1979 Pan American Games he won silver in the 4 × 400 metres relay.
At the 1980 Summer Olympics he was eliminated in the quarterfinal of the 400 metres and in the heat of the 4 × 400 metres relay.
Arthur Stanley Wint OD MBE was a Jamaican Royal Air Force (RAF) pilot during the Second World War, sprinter, physician, and later High Commissioner to the United Kingdom. Competing at the 1948 and 1952 Olympics, whilst a medical student at St Bartholomew's Hospital, London, he won two gold and two silver medals, becoming the first Jamaican Olympic gold medalist.
Novlene Hilaire Williams-Mills, is a retired Jamaican track and field athlete. She won the bronze medal in the 400 metres at the 2007 World Championships. She is also a three-time Olympic silver medallist in the 4×400 metres relay. In 2015 she won relay gold alongside her Jamaican teammates.
Gregory Haughton is a Jamaican 400 metres runner. He won three Olympic medals, one at the 1996 Summer Olympics and two at the 2000 Summer Olympics. His personal best for the 400 m was 44.56 seconds.
Robert Maćkowiak is a former Polish sprinter. Together with Tomasz Czubak, Jacek Bocian and Piotr Haczek he won the gold medal in 4 x 400 metres relay at the 1999 World Championships in Athletics. Maćkowiak has also won other relay medals as well as individual medals in the 200 metres and 400 metres.

Bertland "Bert" Cameron is a retired Jamaican sprinter who mainly competed over 400 metres. He represented Jamaica at three consecutive editions of the Summer Olympics. Cameron won the 400 m title at the first World Championships in Athletics. He was also the 1982 Commonwealth Games champion in the event and won a number of gold medals at regional competitions. He helped the Jamaican runners to a silver medal in the 4×400 metres relay at the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
Devon Morris is a retired Jamaican sprinter who mainly competed in the 400 metres. He won this distance at the 1991 IAAF World Indoor Championships, and his personal best time was 45.49 seconds, achieved during the 1987 World Championships. At the 1988 Summer Olympics he won a silver medal with the Jamaican team in 4 x 400 metres relay. He was an Earl Mellis Former Olympic Sprinter. Devon Morris is currently working as the Facility Director at Jubilee World.
Juliet Jean Campbell is a retired Jamaican sprinter, who specialized in the 200 and 400 metres. She also competed on the successful Jamaican team in both 4 × 100 m and 4 × 400 m relay.

The 4 × 400 metres relay at the Summer Olympics is the longest track relay event held at the multi-sport event. The men's relay has been present on the Olympic athletics programme since 1912 and the women's event has been continuously held since the 1972 Olympics. The inaugural and so far the only mixed 4 × 400 metres relay was held at the 2020 Olympics. It is the most prestigious 4×400 m relay race at elite level. At the 1908 Summer Olympics, a precursor to this event was held – the 1600 m medley relay. This event, with two legs of 200 m, one of 400 m, and a final leg of 800 m, was the first track relay in Olympic history.
