Para table tennis is a parasports which follows the rules set by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). The usual table tennis rules are in effect with slight modifications for wheelchair athletes. Athletes from disability groups can take part. Athletes receive classifications between 1 and 11. Classes 1–5 are for those in wheelchairs and classes 6–10 for those who have disabilities that allow them to play standing. Within those groups, the higher classification means the more function the athlete has. Class 11 is defined for players with an intellectual disability.
Dian David Mickael Jacobs was an Indonesian athlete who competed in table tennis, primarily Class 10 para table tennis. Born in Ujung Pandang, he took up table tennis at the age of ten and rose quickly through national tournaments. He was training to play internationally by 2000, and in 2001 he won his first gold medal, at the SEATTA Championships in Singapore. After 2010 he competed in para table tennis, having spent most of his career competing against athletes with full functionality. Having lost control in his right hand, he decided to compete in the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, winning a bronze medal.
Bhavina Hasmukhbhai Patel, also known as Bhavinaben Hasmukhbhai Patel, is an Indian parathlete and table tennis player from Mehsana, Gujarat. She won a silver medal in Class 4 Table tennis at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo.
Egypt competed at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7 to 18 September 2016. The country sent a delegation of 44 sportspeople. The team included 16-year-old Ayattalah Ayman, the youngest member of the delegation and the first woman to represent Egypt in swimming. It also included 41-year-old Ibrahim Al Husseini Hamadtou, the only table tennis player to compete while holding the paddle in his mouth.

Ge Yang is a retired Chinese para table tennis player. Ge has played para table tennis since he was seven years old. He made his debut at the Paralympics in Athens in 2004 aged 20 and has competed in four Paralympic Games, winning six gold medals, one silver and one bronze.
Rafał Czuper is a Polish para table tennis player. He competed at the 2016 Summer Paralympics, winning a silver medal. He competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics, winning a silver and bronze medal.
Ma Lin is a Chinese-Australian table tennis player who has only a left arm. He has won for gold, three silver and one bronze Paralympic medals in representing China and Australia over five games. He competed for Australia at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics and the 2024 Paris Paralympics.

Elena Nikolayevna Prokofeva is a Russian para table tennis player. She won the gold medal in the women's C11 event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan. She is a multitude World and European champion.
Lucas Edouard Créange is a French Paralympic table tennis player. At the 2020 Summer Paralympics, he won a bronze medal in the Men's individual class 11 event. He has also competed at the INAS Global Games where he won two bronze medals, and is a World and European champion in team events.

Thomas Rau is a German para table tennis player. He won bronze in the Men's team class 6–7 at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo. He is a European champion and a World bronze medalist. He was born without a right arm and has missing fingers on his left hand.
Björn Schnake is a German Paralympic table tennis player. He won bronze in the Men's team class 6–7 at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo with teammate Thomas Rau. For winning a bronze-medal at the Tokyo-Paralympics he was awarded by the President of the Federal Republic of Germany with Silver Laurel Leaf, Germany's highest sport-award.
