Hart Idawarifagha Ishmael (born May 19), known professionally as Idahams, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer. [1] [2] He secured a record deal with Grafton Entertainment in 2016 [3] and joined the Universal Music Nigeria roaster in 2019. [4] [5] Idahams made his first break in 2018 through the song "God Can Bless Anybody" by Mr 2Kay which he wrote and also featured on, the song topped the ITunes Chart barely a week after release. Early life

Idahams was born and raised in the famous Bonny Island, Rivers State. [8] He started honing his musical talent at the age of 10 [9] and would later go on to land a deal with Grafton records in 2016. [10] He released a number of solo records under Grafton records but made his first break in 2018 through his appearance on the song "God Can Bless Anybody" by Nigerian pop artiste, Mr 2Kay. [11]

Career

In August 2018, Idahams released "No One Else", a song which he revealed was inspired by Davido and his fiancée, Chioma’s relationship during an interview with Pulse News. [12] In March 2018, Idahams released a remix of "No One Else" with Nigerian pop star, Teni. [13] In the last quarter of 2019, Idahams released the Amayanabo EP [14] which documented his journey from the creeks of Port Harcourt to becoming a music royalty. [15]

In November 2019, Idahams released the song, "Billion Dollar" and announced his new deal with Universal Music group through a joint partnership that was established by Grafton Entertainment. [16]

Port Harcourt, a city of Rivers State located to the south of Nigeria, has a thriving music scene encompassing both native African and foreign-influenced genres. It plays host to numerous radio stations, prominent recording studios, such as the Street Rhymes Studios and other music institutions. As a state capital, Port Harcourt has of one of the liveliest club scenes in the country as well as music venues, bars and restaurants. As of 2015, hip hop, pop, highlife and reggae are most popular music styles among young people in the city.

Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, better known by his stage name Patoranking, is a Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Ebute Metta community of Lagos, he grew up sharing one room with his parents and five siblings. His modest upbringing and close relationship with his family instilled a drive and determination to create a better future, and led him to music He started his music career doing underground collaborations, with artists such as XProject, Konga, Slam and Reggie Rockstone. He signed a record deal with K-Solo's Igberaga Records in 2010, releasing "Up in D Club" under the outfit. Patoranking became a protégé of Dem Mama Records after collaborating with Timaya on his song "Alubarika". In February 2014, he signed a record deal with Foston Musik and released "Girlie O", a single that put him in the limelight. On 9 February 2015, Patoranking announced on Instagram that he signed a distribution deal with VP Records. on September 28 Patoranking released a song titled Abule which he released ahead of his album scheduled to be released later in 2020. He once said, in 2020 that he once got inspiration for song on a football pitch while playing football.

He is the founder, CEO and head of Grafton Entertainment and has helped launch the careers of many famous artists including De Indispensables, M Trill, Idahams, Tha IBZ, and Mr. 2Kay.

Abinye David Jumbo born, known by his stage name Mr 2Kay, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He was formally signed by Grafton Entertainment, but left the label in 2018 to start his own imprint, Better Life Entertainment.

His international hit single "Love Nwantiti", also known as "Love Nwantiti ", was released in 2019 by Chocolate City.
