If Nevermore is the second album by American singer-songwriter Sub Urban. It was released on June 6, 2025. The album was preceded by the singles "Skinny Loser", "See Myself", "Make Me Forget", "Mascara", and "In Sunder".

Background

Production on the album began in 2022, after the release of his debut album, Hive.

In an interview with Travis Mills, Sub Urban explained that "Skinny Loser", "See Myself", and "Mascara" were all songs produced in 2019 for Thrill Seeker. However, the songs were scrapped and later reworked for If Nevermore.

Singles

"Skinny Loser" was teased through social media by Sub Urban prior to its release. [1] [2] On September 20, 2024, the song was released, alongside a music video, through AWAL.

On November 15, 2024, "See Myself" was released with a music video as the second single.

On March 14, 2025, "Make Me Forget" and "Fingernails" were released as a double-single, with "Fingernails" as a B-side. "Make Me Forget" received a music video a week after its initial release. [3] Sub Urban shared the song's message, saying:

“It’s a piece about forgetting oneself through the act of loving another. The hope that someone else can relieve you of who you’ve become. To peel away the lies we insulate ourselves with that grow into infectious, false identities that bring nothing but suffering to ourselves and those around us, and the yearning to return to that infantile state that once offered innocent clarity as to what it was we truly wanted in the first place. To unlearn.”

On April 18, 2025, "Mascara" and its music video were released as the fourth single from the album. [4]


On May 16, 2025, "In Sunder" was released as the fifth and final single from the album. [5]

Tour

The album is supported by the Anhedonia Tour (stylized as ANHEDONIA Tour), a North American tour that started on June 4, 2025 and is set to end in November 2025.
