Chasin' Wild Trains is the thirteenth studio album by Kim Carnes, released in 2004. It was Carnes' first full-length album since 1991's Checkin' Out the Ghosts and her first to be released both in the U.S. and internationally since 1988's View from the House. Chasin' Wild Trains was originally released by the Sparky Dawg Music label in the U.S. and later re-issued internationally by Dutch label Corazong with two bonus tracks.

Something to Be Proud Of: The Best of 1999–2005 is the first greatest hits compilation album by country music duo Montgomery Gentry. It was released in 2005. The track "She Don't Tell Me To" was newly recorded for this album, and was released as a single. Two other tracks had previously charted, but not included on any of Montgomery Gentry's studio albums. The former was included on the soundtrack to We Were Soldiers, and the latter was a Christmas single.

Both versions use the radio edits of Urban's songs, except for "Somebody Like You." Also included is a cover of Steve Forbert's 1980 single "Romeo's Tune" and a re-recording of the non-single "Got It Right This Time", from his 2006 album Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing.
Startin' Fires is the fifth studio album by American country music singer Blake Shelton. The album was released on November 18, 2008 via Warner Bros. Nashville. Its lead-off single, "She Wouldn't Be Gone", became Shelton's fifth number one hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for the week of February 7, 2009. "I'll Just Hold On" was released as the album's second single. For Starting Fires, Shelton co-wrote two tracks.
The Luckiest Man in the World is the ninth studio album recorded by American country music artist Neal McCoy. It was scheduled to be released in January 2003 on Warner Bros. Records, but was never released. The album's only single, which was the title track, peaked at #46 on the Billboard country charts in 2002. "Put Your Best Dress On" was later released by Steve Holy in 2004, whose version went to #26 on the same chart.
Sarah Buxton is the self-titled debut album by American country singer-songwriter Sarah Buxton. It was released on February 23, 2010 via Lyric Street Records. The album's only single, "Outside My Window," was released in June 2009 and was a Top 25 hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, reaching a peak of number 23 in March 2010. The album also includes Buxton's previous three singles that were released on her extended-play, Almost My Record. As of April 2010, the album has sold nearly 30,000 copies.

Wilson also released several of the album's tracks as promotional singles prior to its release. The album peaked at number 40 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. "Things a Man Oughta Know" became Wilson's first number one song on the Billboard Country Airplay chart in September 2021.
