Igor Gorbokon (Ukrainian : Ігор Петрович Горбоконь; born 13 October 1973) is a Ukrainian samboist and judoka, bronze medalist of the European Sambo Championship, silver medalist of the World Sambo Championship, winner and medalist of international judo tournaments. [1]

Nicholas "Nick" Tritton is a male judoka who grew up in the Perth/Lanark area of Ontario Canada. Nicholas was a member of Canada's National Team for more than ten years and won many medals domestically and internationally including 13 medals on the Grand Slam, Grand Prix and World Cup circuit including back to back bronze medals at the prestigious Tokyo Grand Slam as well as the bronze medal in the men's lightweight division at the 2007 Pan American Games, alongside Cuba's Ronald Girones and another bronze at the 2011 Pan American Games in Mexico. He represented Canada in the sport of Judo at the 2008 Summer & 2012 Summer Olympics and at five World Championships. He won 5 medals at the Pan American Judo Championships. He also earned a bronze medal at the 2005 Francophone Games and a silver at the 2009 Francophone Games.

The 2014 World Judo Championships were held in Chelyabinsk, Russia, from 25 to 31 August 2014, in the Traktor Ice Arena. Each participating country was permitted to present a total of 18 men and women judokas to participate in the 14 weight categories, but no more than two judokas from the same country were allowed to fight in the same category.

Christiaan "Chris" Dolman is a Dutch retired judoka, sambo fighter and wrestler. He won a silver medal at the 1974 European Judo Championships and a gold at the 1985 World Sambo Championships, counting as the first non-Russian sambo world champion, and has over 40 national and 10 international championships. He is known for his career in Fighting Network Rings and for his role training several Dutch Mixed Martial Artists and Kickboxers, among them Bas Rutten, Alistair and Valentijn Overeem, Gilbert Yvel and Gegard Mousasi.

Rebecca "Becky" Scott, née Trussell, is an American retired martial arts athlete who competed in sambo and judo. She is a US National Championships Bronze Medalist in judo. At the time, this was the highest level of competition as there was no world championship. She eventually became a team alternate for the first Judo World Championship for women. Scott competed at 149lbs. Scott competed at the Sambo at the 1983 Pan American Games Scott was a five-time National Champion in sombo. She additionally won the 1984 AAU National Women's Sombo championships. She later competed in the Sambo at the 1983 Pan American Games. It was here that she initially won the title. She also served as the coach for the Judo Junior National Team for the United States.
