Air Marshal Timothy Garden, Baron Garden,, FRUSI, FCGI was a senior commander in the Royal Air Force (RAF) who later became a university professor and a Liberal Democrat politician.
Mihnea Ioan Motoc is a Romanian diplomat who served as Minister of Defence of Romania between November 2015 and January 2017, in the Cioloș Cabinet. Before this appointment, he was the country's ambassador to the European Union between 2008 and 2015, and briefly the country's ambassador to the United Kingdom. He is currently the Principal Adviser in the European Commission's Inspire, Debate, Engage and Accelerate Action (IDEA) department.

He retired as an Assistant Secretary-General in the United Nations. His last post was as the Representative of the Secretary-General in Belgrade, Serbia. Prior to this until March 2009 he was the Special Representative of the Secretary-General heading MINURSO Western Sahara.

Zoran Jolevski is a Macedonian diplomat and the former Minister of Defense of the Republic of Macedonia. Prior to his appointment as Minister of Defense, he served as Macedonia's Ambassador to the United States of America. In November 2008, he was appointed chief negotiator to the Macedonia naming dispute, and in 2011 he was appointed Ambassador to the United Mexican States and as Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States. He served as Secretary General of the late Macedonian president Boris Trajkovski from 2000–2004. He holds a Ph.D. in International Economy from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje. He is married to Suzana Jolevska, and together they have two sons, Pero (1988) and Filip (1992).

Major General Duncan Edward Lewis is an Australian military officer, diplomat and intelligence chief. From 2014 to 2019, he was the Director-General of Security of the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO). Prior to that appointment, he held the post of Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. He is a retired Australian Army officer, and formerly Special Operations Commander Australia (2002–2004), National Security Adviser, and Secretary of the Department of Defence.
Vlad Lupan is the former Ambassador, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Moldova to the United Nations. Between 2010-2011 he was a Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Deputy Chairman of the Liberal Party. He is a former diplomat from the Republic of Moldova. He has been the Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Moldova since August 2010. Vlad Lupan served for 12 years in the diplomatic service of his country and in his last posting he was the director of the NATO Department in the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova. Since 2008 he was a civil society expert on EU, NATO, security sector reform issues, as well as an external efficiency evaluator and, at the same time, had his show on Vocea Basarabiei radio station.
General Freddy José Padilla de León is a retired General of the Army of Colombia and currently serves as Ambassador of Colombia to Austria and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office at Vienna. Prior to this diplomatic post General Padilla served as the General Commander of the Armed Forces of Colombia from 2006 to 2010, and as such assumed the Ministry of National Defence ad interim in 2009.
Vadym Volodymyrovych Prystaiko is a Ukrainian diplomat who was Ukraine's ambassador to the United Kingdom. He was appointed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on 20 July 2020 and held the position until he was dismissed by Zelenskyy three years later.
Ireland and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) have had a formal relationship since 1999, when Ireland joined as a member of the NATO Partnership for Peace (PfP) program and signed up to NATO's Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC). To date, Ireland has not sought to become a member of NATO due to its traditional policy of military neutrality.

Rachel Grimes is a retired officer of the British Armed Forces. She worked for almost three decades in the security sector. Grimes has deployed on operations with NATO, the United Nations and as a part of a UK national contingent in war and conflict areas in Europe, Asia and Africa. She has worked in security sector reform, counterinsurgency operations and human security in military operations. Initially working in transport, logistics and air defence missile systems. Grimes went on to be the Army's spokesperson in the MOD and deployed as a media operations officer in Iraq in 2003. She has also worked in the area of influence operations and as a doctrine and policy writer. Grimes was part of the NATO Counterinsurgency Writing Group from 2011 to 2013. She worked in the Democratic Republic of Congo with the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo's (MONUSCO's) as the UN Force Commander's Child Protection and Gender Field Advisor in Goma. She deployed to a similar role in Iraq in 2015 and then spent three years at the United Nations HQ in New York acting as a Gender and Child Protection Adviser to the UN Military Adviser. She is keenly aware of the gender dynamics at play in conflict and in peace and has studied the role and contribution of women and military masculinities in Counter Insurgency Operations and the British Army.
Robert Peter Bauer is a lieutenant-admiral in the Royal Netherlands Navy, currently serving as the Chair of the NATO Military Committee since June 2021, after succeeding Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach. Bauer previously served as the Chief of Defence from October 2017 to April 2021, and as the Vice Chief of Defence of the Armed forces of the Netherlands from 1 September 2015 to 13 July 2017. Bauer was also involved in anti-terrorist and anti-piracy operations in the Mediterranean Sea, and in the Horn of Africa.
Lieutenant General Tage Dennis Gyllensporre, né Öztürkmen is a retired senior Swedish Army officer. Gyllensporre has served as Chief of Policy and Plans Department (2012–2014), Chief of Defence Staff (2014–2018), head of the Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters (2014–2018), head of the Swedish Armed Forces Special Forces (2014–2018) and as the Commandant General in Stockholm (2014–2018). From August 2018 to 2021, Gyllensporre served as Force Commander of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA).
Pjer Šimunović is the current Croatian Ambassador to the United States. He presented his credentials to President Donald Trump at the White House on September 8, 2017. He succeeds Josip Paro, who served as Croatia's ambassador in Washington from April 2012 to May 2016.

He is the director cabinet of the Chairman of the European Union Military Committee and supports General Robert Brieger, who took over the chairmanship of the EU Military Committee from that date. From 2020 to 2022, he was director of the Institute for Peace Support and Conflict Management at the National Defence Academy in Vienna. From 2014 to 2020, he held the position of Security policy director at the Federal Ministry of Defence and was a permanent member of the National Security Council (NSC) and the council for integration and foreign policy.
