Ikechukwu Lekwachi Emetu (born 09 April 1984) is a Nigerian engineer and politician who has served as deputy governor of Abia State since 2023. [1]

Life and career

Emetu is from Ohafia. [2] He is a petrochemical engineer. According to governor Alex Otti in a press briefing released by the News Agency of Nigeria, Emetu was picked because of his "youth, his outstanding community development service and humanitarian gestures". [1] He received his certificate of return on 29 March 2023. [3] [4]
