Ilebaye Precious Odiniya (born 9 May 2001) also known as Baye or Gen-Z Baddie, is a Nigerian criminologist, model and reality TV star. [1] [2] She is the winner of Big Brother Naija season 8. [3] [4] [5]

Early life

Ilebaye is from the Igala tribe in Kogi State, She was born and raised in Okpo, Olamaboro local government area in Kogi state. [6] [7]

She attended Binta International School, Lagos, which is owned by the movie producer Wale Adenuga, for her secondary school education, where she featured in movies like Papa Ajasco , Super Story and Binta & Friends starting from a young age, and Salem University in Lokoja, where she studied criminology and security studies. [8]

Career

Ilebaye started acting career [9] at a young age, as she played a role in Papa Ajasco and in Nnena and Friends. [10]

In 2021, she won the Finest Girl Democracy Nigeria (FGDN) beauty pageant. [7]

Big Brother Naija

Ilebaye entered the 7th season of Big Brother Naija as the fourth housemate on 23 July 2022, [11] [12] and she was evicted on the third week. [13]

On 23 July 2023, Ilebaye was introduced as the 13th housemate for the all star season. [14] [15] [16] During the season finale of the show on 1 October 2023, she was declared the winner, [17] [18] [19] after scoring 30.08% [20] of the final votes ahead of Mercy Eke with 23.48% of the total votes cast and was entitled to the ₦120 000 000 (one hundred and twenty million naira) cash and other prices, making her the third female to win the show. [21] [22]
