Big Brother Naija Season 7 also known as Big Brother Naija: Level Up was the seventh season of the Nigerian version of the reality show Big Brother . It premiered on 23 and 24 July 2022 on DStv channel 198/199 and GOtv channel 8/29. [1] [2] Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returned as the host for the 6th consecutive time. [3]
The headline sponsor of the show was Pocket by Piggyvest and the associate sponsor was Flutterwave. [4]
According to the organizers of the show MultiChoice, the winner of the season is expected to win a total of ₦100 million grand prize which includes a N50m cash prize and ₦50m worth of prizes from sponsors. [5] [6]
A virtual audition was held to select contestants for the show on 15 May 2022 to 30 May 2022. [7] [8] Interested contestants were told to record and submit a three-minute video stating why they should appear on the show. [9]

Big Brother Naija, formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria, is a Nigerian reality competition television series, based on the Big Brother television franchise. On the show, contestants live in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize and other material prizes at the end of the show, by avoiding being evicted from the house by viewers who vote for their favourite housemates to remain in the show.
Big Brother Africa 2 was the second series of the reality television show Big Brother Africa, produced by Endemol. The season began airing on 5 August 2007 and ran 98 days ending 11 November 2007.
The third season of the reality game show Pinoy Big Brother, subtitled "Double Up" aired on ABS-CBN for 133 days from October 4, 2009 to February 13, 2010, replacing Miss No Good and Florinda and was replaced by Habang May Buhay, Rubi, Melason and the first season of Pilipinas Got Talent.
Big Brother Africa 5 was the fifth season of the Big Brother Africa reality television series produced by Endemol. The season premiered on Sunday, July 18, 2010 and was broadcast by M-Net and M-NetAfrica for 91 days, concluding on October 17, 2010 when Nigeria's Uti was crowned the ultimate winner. Each week the Housemates nominated two of their own and the public voted to either save or evict them until only 5 Housemates remained on finale night. The grand prize for this season was initially $200,000, however, due to the strike that took place on Day 6, the grand prize was decreased by ten percent meaning that the winner will now receive $180,000. Since that incident and toward the end of the series, the grand prize has been reinstated as $200,000 although this reinstatement was never formally announced to the housemates and the public. 14 African countries took part in this year's series, namely: Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe). This season also use some of the game mechanics from the Secret Story franchise.
Big Brother Naija 2017, also known as Big Brother Naija: See Gobbe is the second season of the Nigerian reality show Big Brother Naija. It was launched on 22 January 2017. Housemate Ebuka Obi-Uchendu from season one was the host. Two fake housemates, Jon Ogah and Ese Eriata were introduced halfway into the show.

He gained popularity as one of the housemates of the Big Brother Naija 2017 reality game show, a localized Nigerian franchise of the Dutch game show Big Brother. Among other jobs, he has worked as a school teacher in Lagos as well as a statistician for the Federal Government. He is a baritone, known as Baritone Bally in Big Brother Naija. In 2015, Balat created an Afro-infused electronic bootleg remix to Rihanna's hit song FourFiveSeconds, which brought industry recognition and led to a mash-up segment on Lagos City's radio station, The Beat 99.9 FM.

Produced by South Africa's Red Pepper Pictures and it was launched on 28 January 2018 on DStv channel 198 which also served as a live feed form the house. Ex-housemate Ebuka Obi-Uchendu from season one as the host. This season ended on 22 April 2018, having run for 12 weeks.

Produced by South Africa's award-winning production company, Red Pepper Pictures and it was launched on 30 June 2019 on the Africa Magic channels & DStv channel 198. Ex-housemate Ebuka Obi-Uchendu from season one continued as the host. The winner won ₦60 million worth of prizes.
