"In Love and I Hate It" is a song by British-Norwegian boyband A1, released as the third single from their fourth studio album, Waiting for Daylight .
After taking a period of time out to record following the release of their Eurovision-penned release Don't Wanna Lose You Again, the band recorded a number of songs for their upcoming fourth studio album, Waiting for Daylight. On a post made on the group's official Facebook page, they claimed the intention of originally releasing "Waiting for Daylight", the album's title track, as the third single, however, at the last minute, opting to release "In Love and I Hate It" instead. [1] The band also claimed the song was recorded with an acoustic arrangement, however, the final version features a more computerised musical beat. After the song surfaced on many filesharing websites, the band made the decision to officially release the song via digital download. The song was made available on the iTunes Store from 4 August 2010. [2] On 10 August 2010, the single peaked at No. 13 on the Norwegian Singles Chart. [1] The band ran a competition through their official website in which 100 lucky recipients would win a physical copy of the single, hand-signed by each member of the group. The physical single was never commercially released. The single features the original acoustic demo of the song, as mentioned in the post, as a B-side. [1]
The music video for "In Love and I Hate It" features footage from a performance of the song at a Norwegian music festival in June 2010. The video also features English-language subtitles, but notably, misses the first line of the song due to a technical error. The video premiered on Norwegian music channels in July 2011, and was uploaded to YouTube by an amateur user on 7 August 2010. The video has a total length of three minutes and thirty-two seconds. The video has been broadcast by UK TV channel The Vault. [3]

"I Just Wanna Know" was released as the lead single from Cruz's debut studio album Departure (2008). The single was released on 4 November 2006, via digital download, and two days later physically. It charted on the UK Singles Chart at #29. Despite having a lower peak position than his second single, "Moving On", "I Just Wanna Know" managed six weeks inside the UK top 75 compared to the four weeks "Moving On" charted for. The single is the only of Cruz's releases to be made available on two physical single formats. The B-side, "Backseat Love", features rapper Erick Sermon.

SafetySuit is an American rock band from Tulsa, Oklahoma, currently based in Nashville, Tennessee. Their 2008 major label debut album Life Left to Go featured songs "Stay" and "Someone Like You", the former first achieving fame by climbing to No. 1 on the VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown. In January 2012, SafetySuit followed with their second album These Times, notable for its songs "Let Go" and "These Times". Taking One for the Team is the fifth studio album by Canadian rock band Simple Plan. It was released on February 19, 2016 through Atlantic Records and represents the band's first full-length record in nearly five years. Following the release of three buzz singles in mid-2015, the band released "I Don't Wanna Go to Bed" featuring American rapper Nelly as the official lead single for the album on October 16, 2015. It debuted at number 4 on the Canadian Albums Chart, earning the band their fourth consecutive top-5 and a perfect streak of top-10s for their first five studio albums. It is the band's final album release as a quintet, as bassist David Desrosiers left Simple Plan in July 2020 due to sexual misconduct allegations. It is also the band's last album released through Atlantic, as the band fulfilled their contract to the label with this album.
Story Untold is a Canadian rock band based in Laval, Quebec. Founded in 2012, the band signed with Hopeless Records in May 2016. Shortly after signing, they recorded their self-titled EP, then went on tour with Simple Plan and Hit the Lights. Story Untold current line-up included vocalist and main songwriter Janick Thibault and drummer Jonathan Landry. In December 2019, the band left Hopeless Records and now remain as an independent group.
