Season chronology |
The third season of the Indian talent show competition series India's Got Talent was broadcast on Colors TV from 29 July to 24 September 2011. [1] Meiyang Chang and Gautam Rode were roped in as the new hosts for season three. Kirron Kher and Sonali Bendre returned for their third season each while Dharmendra joined as the third judge, replacing Sajid Khan. [2]
The season was won by the Suresh and Vernon Group, who were season two's runners-up. They won ₹50,00,000 (50 lakhs INR) along with a trophy. [3] [4]
No major changes were made to the format of the show except that the wildcard round was removed for this season.
Of the participants who auditioned for this season, forty-eight contestants made it to the quarter-finals, with seven, eight or nine quarter-finalists in each one. Among the forty-eight, only eighteen made it past to the semi-finals with six appearing in each one, and six securing a place in the pre-finale. Only four participants performed in the grand finale. The third season of American talent show competition series America's Got Talent was broadcast on NBC from June 17 to October 1, 2008. After the conclusion of the second season, changes to the program included the creation of additional audition episodes in the broadcast schedule, the involvement of quarter-finals in the competition, and doubling the number of participants that advanced from the boot camp stage. Between August 7–26, the show had a planned break to avoid clashing with the network's live coverage of the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Dance India Dance is an Indian Hindi-language dance competition reality television series that airs on Zee TV, created and produced by Essel Vision Productions. It premiered on 30 January 2009. Here the judges are called Masters and Mithun Chakraborty was called Grand Master . Season 7 premiered with a different concept. This show is a remake of Bengali show Dance Bangla Dance which premiered on 2007. After 3 successful seasons of Dance Bangla Dance, Zee TV remade this show for all-over Indian participants.

The fourth season of American talent show competition series America's Got Talent was broadcast on NBC from June 23 to September 16, 2009. Following the previous season, Jerry Springer left the show due to other commitments, and was replaced as host by Nick Cannon. A number of changes were also made to the program before filming commenced, which included replacing the "boot camp" stage with a round similar in format to that used by Britain's Got Talent, and changing the buzzer format to match that being used by the Got Talent franchise. In addition, the episodes for results in each live round of the competition were also modified. They were broadcast over a one-hour period, and would feature performances by guest stars.

This season was longer than its predecessor, Bigg Boss 3 and lasted for 14 weeks ending on 8 January 2011. Salman Khan joined the show for the first time as host and has subsequently hosted all the following seasons. This season became the highest-rated season with the finale TRP reaching 6.2 and the average TRP being 4.8.
The fifth season of American talent show competition series America's Got Talent was broadcast on NBC from June 1 to September 15, 2010. For the season, production staff introduced two new quarter-finals: one for Wildcards selected from the participants eliminated during auditions or their respective quarter-final, and one for acts that auditioned via YouTube, following changes in the online application process. After the conclusion of the fourth season, David Hasselhoff left the program, and was replaced by Howie Mandel.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 also known as Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded is the eighth season of the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. It premiered on 11 July 2015 on Colors. The series is hosted by Manish Paul yet again. Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, and Ganesh Hegde and Lauren Gottlieb judged the series. Malaika Arora replaced Johar later. The finale took place on 10 October 2015 declaring Faisal Khan and Vaishnavi as the winners while popular actress Sanaya Irani and Jai was the first runners-up.
Disney's ABCD 2, also known as Any Body Can Dance 2, is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language dance film directed and choreographed by Remo D'Souza and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under Walt Disney Pictures. A stand-alone sequel to the 2013 film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance, the film stars Prabhu Deva, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles alongside Sushant Pujari, and is partially inspired by the life accounts of Suresh Mukund and Vernon Monteiro, played respectively by Dhawan and Pujari, founders of the "fictitious dance crew" The Kings, who went on to win the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in San Diego.

After the previous season, the format of the second round of auditions was changed to a more competitive stage under the title "Judge Cuts", with each episode under this new arrangement featuring a guest judge.
