India International Science Festival

India International Science Festival (IISF) is an initiative of the Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Earth Science of the Government of India in association with India's Science movement Vijnana Bharati with Swadeshi spirit led by eminent scientists of India. [1] [2] [3] This platform brings together students, the public, researchers, innovators and artists from around the globe to experience the joy of doing science for the well-being of people and humanity.

Festival Celebration

The first IISF was celebrated in New Delhi in 2015. [2] [4] The festival theme of 2021 was "Celebrating Creativity in Science, Technology and Innovation for Prosperous India", [3] [4] which was held between 11 December 2021 and 13 December 2021 at Panaji, Goa, India. [5]

Maria Aurora Couto was an Indian writer and educator from Goa. She was best known for her book Goa: A Daughter's Story and for promoting literature and ideas within Goa and beyond. She lived in the north Goan village of Aldona. In addition to her books, she wrote for newspapers and magazine, and also taught English literature at Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi and Dhempe College, Panaji. She also helped start the DD Kosambi Festival of Ideas in 2008.

Goa State in India

The Goa Vikas Party (GVP) is a regional political party from Goa, India, was led by Francisco Pacheco. The GVP was founded by late Sitaram Bandodkar, and the current president is Francisco Pacheco's partner Viola Pacheco. It was revived by Pacheco, who left the Nationalist Congress Party and joined the GVP ahead of the 2012 Goa Legislative Assembly election. It is a part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). National Highway 748 (India) National highway in India

National Highway 748 is a National Highway in India that starts from Belgaum in Karnataka and ends at Panaji in North Goa district. The NH 748 or 4B highway from Goa up to Goa Karnataka border is good. After that in Karnataka due to incomplete bridge works at many places the road is missing, bad deep pot holes, muddy puddles. If car is stuck or punctured then no vehicular traffic to take help and jungle area with signs of possibilities of animals crossing roads. Best to avoid road. Panaji to Belgaum highway via mollem and anmod ghat road condition. 153 km (95 mi) long, of which 82 km (51 mi) is in Karnataka and 71 km (44 mi) is in Goa. It is a spur road of National Highway 48.

The Goa Arts and Literature Festival (GALF) is an annual literary festival which takes place in the Indian coastal state of Goa, each December. It was founded in 2010.

Shalu Robot Indian humanoid robot made from waste

Robot Shalu is the maximum languages speaking world's first homemade artificially intelligent multilingual social and educational humanoid robot, made-up of waste materials, that can speak 47 languages, developed by Dinesh Kunwar Patel, a Kendriya Vidyalaya, Computer Science teacher from Mumbai, India. It is like Sophia Robot. Robot Shalu has been given first place in the top 10 humanoid robots of the world by TopTen Magazine and also identified as most recognized Indian Robot in Global Tech Market by Analytics Insight Magazine. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has included Robot Shalu in the Computer Science curriculum of class sixth.
