Indonesia XI

Indonesia XI (also known as Indonesia Selection, Indonesia Dream Team, or Liga (League) Selection) is a football team which represents the Indonesia League in matches. Indonesia XI mainly play non-FIFA 'A' international match mostly against clubs while the competitive matches such as World Cup and the Asian Cup qualifiers are played by the Indonesia national football team . Sometimes, the national team played in matches against clubs, like indicated below.

History

The team consists of players from the top teams of the Indonesian league. Some of the players are also play for the Indonesia national team. Indonesia XI usually plays against associated football clubs throughout the world, mostly from Europe.

Dato' Abdul Shukor bin SallehDSPN AMN is a Malaysian former professional footballer. He was a key midfield player for the Malaysia national football team during the 1970s. He was often called the "Mr.Cool" and "Malaysia Ardiles" of the Malaysian national team for the way he steered the Malaysian midfield with calm and composed way. He won the Malaysian National Sportsman Award in 1977 for his contribution to the national team. Furthermore, he was the second and the last football player after Mokhtar Dahari to be given that award. He was inducted into the FIFA Century Club in May 2021.

Ashish Bhadra is a retired Bangladeshi footballer. An attacking midfielder, he achieved most of his laurels while playing for Abahani Krira Chakra in the Dhaka League. He was a big factor in Abahani dominating the Dhaka football scene in the early 1980s.
