Inger Seim Kavlie (born 8 September 1993) [1] is a Norwegian competitive rower. Her achievements include winning a gold medal in double scull at the 2024 European Rowing Championships, and winning the overall double scull World Rowing Cup for 2024.
Kavlie won a gold medal in double scull at the 2024 European Rowing Championships, along with Thea Helseth. [2] In May 2024 she was selected rower of the month by the World Rowing Federation. [3] [4] Along with Helseth she won the double scull overall World Rowing Cup in the 2024 season. [5]
She was selected to compete in double sculls at the 2024 Summer Olympics, along with Helseth, [6] the duo managed to qualify for the final, where they placed sixth. [7]
Olaf Karl Tufte is a Norwegian rower, firefighter, and farmer. He is a seven-time Olympian, and as a single sculler he was twice the Olympic champion and twice the world champion. He has been consistently selected to the Norwegian men's senior national rowing squad since 1996, including his selection as a 2020 Tokyo Olympian – where he made his seventh Olympic appearance, racing in the men's quadruple sculls.
Nils Jakob Hoff is a Norwegian retired rower. He is a world champion and two-time European Championships bronze medallist in the double sculls. Hoff won the gold medal at the 2013 World Championships and bronze medals at the European Championships in 2012 and 2013 with Kjetil Borch. He is a two-time Olympian and competed in the men's double sculls at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the men's single sculls at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Hoff retired from rowing in 2019.
Kjetil Borch is a Norwegian rower. He is a two-time Olympic medallist and won the silver medal in the single sculls at the 2020 Summer Olympics and the bronze medal in the double sculls at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Borch is also a two-time world champion and a European champion (2018). He is a four-time Olympian and competed at the 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games.
Erik Horrie is an Australian wheelchair basketball player and a five-time world champion rower. He was a member of the Australia men's national wheelchair basketball team. Switching to rowing in 2011, he made an immediate impact in the sport, first winning the NSW State Rowing Championships and then the National Rowing Championships in Adelaide. He has won silver medals at the 2012, 2016, 2020 Summer Paralympics and a bronze at the 2024 Summer Paralympics. He won gold medals at the 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018 World Rowing Championships. Horrie has selected for the 2024 Paris Paralympics - his fourth Games.

Birgit Lovise Røkkum Skarstein is a Norwegian former Paralympic athlete and social entrepreneur who competed in pararowing and para cross-country skiing. She is a Paralympic champion and silver medallist, six-time world champion and four-time European champion in single sculls. Skarstein has won a total of twelve World Championships medals, eight in rowing and four in cross-country skiing, and holds the world best time in women's single sculls. She announced her retirement on 1 January 2025.

The rowing competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris ran from 27 July to 3 August at the Stade nautique de Vaires-sur-Marne, National Olympic Nautical Stadium of Île-de-France in Vaires-sur-Marne. The number of rowers competing across fourteen gender-based categories at these Games was reduced from 526 to 502, with an equal distribution between men’s and women’s events. Despite the slight changes in athlete figures, the rowing program for Paris 2024 remained constant from the previous edition as the competition featured an equal number of categories for men and women, with seven each.
