The GLG Grand building is a 186-meter (609-foot) tall skyscraper in Midtown Atlanta. The Art Deco-inspired, pyramid-capped tower is 53 stories tall and was finished in 1992. The bottom third of it is the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, which includes 244 guest rooms and is the only 5-star hotel in Midtown. It is the eleventh-tallest skyscraper in Atlanta. The building was designed by Rabun Hogan Ota Rasche Architects, and built by Beers Construction of Atlanta.

The first Atlanta Confederate Soldiers' Home was built in 1890 with the support of Henry W. Grady at a cost of $45,000. Grady proposed the idea first in 1889, and began to raise funds through "subscriptions". Due to lack of funds the home did not open until 1900. It stood at 410 E. United Avenue on the south edge of the Ormewood Park neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. In September, 1901 it burned down, shortly after it was occupied. and was rebuilt in 1902 at the same location with support from the Inman family.
Krog Street Market is a 9-acre (3.6 ha) mixed-use development in Atlanta, located along the BeltLine trail at Edgewood Avenue in Inman Park which opened in Summer 2014. The complex is centered on a 12,000-square-foot (1,100 m2), west coast-style market and restaurants, and also includes up to 300 apartments. The marketplace has been planned to have four or five restaurants and merchants such as florists, cheesemakers, butchers, and bakers under one roof. It is to incorporate two existing parcels on either side of Krog Street: The Stove Works on the west side and the former Tyler Perry Studios at 99 Krog Street, on the east side. The conversion to Krog Street Market is to cost $70 million. The Stove Works is to remain unaltered. Illustrations in the plans show the existing bridge over Krog Street renovated as a pedestrian bridge and incorporated as part of the complex.
