Inside Out: The Mixtape is the first official mixtape by Kat DeLuna.In September, during her mini promo tour in Belgium and then in France, DeLuna signed a new contract Universal Music Belgium. This new deal will assure the release of her album in Europe, United Kingdom and Australia. The mixtape was released for fans on September 10, 2010.

The album is mainly produced by RedOne, who at the time was unknown. Many of the songs on the album have a Hispanic feel, mainly the track Am I Dreaming. The album features guest appearances by artists such as Shaka Dee, Don Omar, Elephant Man and American rapper Busta Rhymes. DeLuna would later collaborate with Elephant Man yet again on her 2010 album, Inside Out.

Henoc Pierrick Bofenda better known by his stage name Leto is a French rapper and part of the duo PSO Thug, a French hip-hop duo from the 17th arrondissement of Paris. PSO part refers to their origin as they come from Porte de Saint-Ouen and is made up of Leto alongside Aéro. In 2014 they started with "Hors la loi".
