In 1975, Integrity/Chicago, the organization's first chapter, held a convention. The half-dozen attendees from Toronto discovered one another at the conference, and founded Integrity/Toronto.
The chapter has ties to the Church of the Redeemer, where its monthly services are held, and whose parish LGBT group overlaps heavily with Integrity/Toronto's membership.
Integrity/Toronto also holds annual retreats, operates a pamphlet ministry, appears at General Synod, and promotes parish education about GLBT Christian issues. It was engaged in a dialogue process with Fidelity before that group dissolved.

DignityUSA is an organization with headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, that focuses on LGBT rights and the Catholic Church. Dignity Canada exists as the Canadian sister organization. The organization is made up of local chapters across the country, and functions both as a support and social group for LGBT and LGBT-accepting Catholics to worship together. "The goal of 'Dignity' is to serve as an advocate for change in the Roman Catholic Church's stance on homosexuality", and as an activist group for LGBT rights and education about LGBT issues.

In 2003, the Lambeth Commission on Communion was appointed by the Anglican Communion to study problems stemming from the consecration of Gene Robinson, the first noncelibate self-identifying gay priest to be ordained as an Anglican bishop, in the Episcopal Church in the United States and the blessing of same-sex unions in the Anglican Diocese of New Westminster. The Commission, chaired by Archbishop Robin Eames, published its findings as the Windsor Report on 18 October 2004. The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption and St Gregory is a Catholic church on Warwick Street, Westminster. It is the oldest Catholic church in England. Linda Carol Nicholls is a Canadian Anglican bishop who has served as Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada since 2019. She was previously Bishop of Huron from 2016 to 2019 and a suffragan bishop in the Anglican Diocese of Toronto from 2008 to 2016. She is the first woman to head the Anglican Church of Canada and the second female primate in the Anglican Communion.
