International Animation Cartoon Festival Bangladesh (IACFB) is an annual international animation film festival in Bangladesh. The first edition of the festival took place on 29 March 2013 at the Shishu Academy in Dhaka. Children Communication Bangladesh (CCB) has been organizing , Support by IFAD Group this festival based on the theme Shishura Shajabey Notun Prithibi Md. Rabiul Islam Rony, Director, CCB & United Nations South Asia plans to host the first international animation festival in Bangladesh among the SAARC countries. [1] [2] [3]

In the film—which is narrated by Warren Burton—Wirt, his brother Gregory, and Beatrice, a bluebird, head to the big city in search of an arcane book of all known things, meeting a vegetable man along the way.

Bangladeshi animation is a new form of visual arts experiencing a rapid growth. The animation industry employs about 12,000 people in Bangladesh. Most of the animations produced are for outsourced projects from western developed nations. Animation projects related to social awareness programs and TV advertisement purposes are another market, and a few animation studios produce animated shorts and feature films. There are some animation festivals that annually take place in Bangladesh, most prominently the International Animation and Cartoon Festival.

The Seoul Animation Center is an animation and cartoon museum and activities center located on the hillside of Namsan in Jung-gu, Seoul. He teaches animation at the California College of the Arts and has also been a professor in the animation department at Academy of Art University, San Francisco, California.

Md Ashraful Alam better known as Ashraf Shishir is a Bangladeshi independent film director, screenwriter and human rights activist. He received Bangladesh National Film Awards in 2014 for Gariwala. It has been screened at 65 international film festivals in 22 countries and has earned 24 international awards.
