Naming the motto of the year in Iran is done by Ali Khamenei Supreme leader every new year in Nowrooz. The first instance began in 1999, where he selected the "title of year".

  8. Promote a culture of sacrifice and martyrdom in the community
  9. Creating remarkable and valuable artworks to convey the ideals and values of the Islamic Revolution and the Sacred Defense to future generations

Sayyid Javad Khamenei was an Iranian Shia. He was the father of Iran's current supreme leader, Ali Khamenei.

Abdolmohammad Ayati was an Iranian author, translator and researcher in the field of philosophy, history and Persian and Arabic literature. He was born on 5 May 1926 in Borujerd, Borujerd County, Lorestan Province, Iran and died on 11 September 2013 in Tehran, Iran. He was selected at the second Iran's Book of the Year Awards for Arabic to Persian translation of the book History of Arabic Language Literature.

In the third edition of this book Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran, wrote a note on the book's chapter that had written about Ali Shariati. The book has been reprinted over twenty times.

Hamidreza Moghaddamfar is an Iranian university professor, expert on strategic issues, cultural and media adviser to the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran, deputy of the Office of Preservation and Publication of Seyyed Ali Khamenei's Works, secretary of the People's Headquarters of Commemoration of Qassem Soleimani and cultural adviser of the Islamic Azad University. He is in charge of publishing and advertising the works of Seyyed Ali Khamenei to the youth of Europe and North America. He was the CEO of Fars News Agency from 2007 to 2011. Then, he became the cultural and social deputy of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and was in this position until September 2014. In 2015, Moghadamfar received the official Iran honorary badge of The Striving in the Field of Culture and Art. He is also a member of the board of trustees of the shrine of Sultan Ali ibn Muhammad Baqir.
