The Iranian Students Polling Agency (ISPA), affiliated to the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR), started its activities on May 8, 2001 (Khordad 18, 1380). [1] The aim of this center is to do research in polling and public opinion in national, international and transnational levels, to help organizations, governmental, public, private and civil institutions that select decisions and policy base on observation and statistics. [2] Among the main priorities of the organisation is to focus on public opinions and necessity of using citizens opinions, with goal of increasing intercommunity of citizens in improvement conditions and development of the country's affairs. [3] [4]
The fundamental and basic doctrine of ISPA is to design and employment exact methods and standards, moral tent and preservation of political impartial position in the process of public opinion researches and in special case the researches that related to polling. The results of ISPA's activities in the last 16 years, has been performed more than 2500 polling plans in social, economic and political fields, and in local and national levels.
One of the successful polls of this center was anticipated the Islamic Republic of Iran's 12th Presidential Elections in 2017. This plan implemented in 12 levels and could estimate people participation rate in elections, [5] voting rate of candidates [6] in election advertisement days, [7] and amount of voting of two candidates Hassan Rohani and Seyed Ebrahim Raisi. [8] [9] [10] [11] The results of this researches used by governmental and non-governmental institutions, politician institutions, local institutions and international news agencies.
Bahman Sholevar is an Iranian-American novelist, poet, translator, critic, psychiatrist and political activist. He began writing and translating at age 13. At ages 18 and 19 he translated William Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury and T. S. Eliot's The Waste Land into Persian, and these still are renowned as two classics of translation in modern Persian literature. In 1967, after his first novel The Night's Journey was banned in Iran, he immigrated to the United States and in 1981 he became a dual citizen of the United States and Iran. Although most of his writings in the past 42 years have been in English, published outside Iran; although The Night's Journey has never been allowed republication, though sold in thousands of unlicensed copies; and although the Persian version of his last novel, Dead Reckoning, has never been given a "publication permit" in Iran, at their latest re-appraisals some Iranian critics have named him "the most influential Persian writer of the past four decades," "one who has had the most influence on the writers of the younger generations."
Hassaan Al-Gazaar Chenani, is an instrumentalist of "Rababa", who is known as "Hassaan Al-Gazaar", was a singer of from the Ahwaz area. He was a resident of Khowayes, a village in Khuzistan. Chenani was discovered and introduced to music society of Iran by Hooshangjavid, a music researcher of areas of Iran.
Hassan Pakandam was a member of Iran senior national Boxing team from 1955, continuously until 1965, and a member of Tehran Taj Boxing Club from 1950 to 1965, boxing in the 60, 63.5, and 67 kg divisions. He was a well-built, skilled, swift, and intelligent all-around boxer. His recognized punch was a powerful cross. Musa Khamis was an Iranian general in the war between Qajar Empire and the Ottoman Empire in 1821. Also Musa Khamis was a champion in varzesh-e bastani and won the Pahlevan of Iran title and armband in Pahlevani traditional wrestling several times.

Presidential elections were held in Iran on 18 June 2021, the thirteenth since the establishment of the Islamic Republic in 1979. Ebrahim Raisi, the then Chief Justice of Iran, was declared the winner in a highly controversial election. The election began with the mass disqualification of popular candidates by the Guardian Council, and broke records of the lowest turnout in Iranian electoral history, as well as had the highest share of protest blank, invalid and lost votes despite a declaration by the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, considering protest voting religiously forbidden (haraam) as it would "weaken the regime." Reporters Without Borders reported 42 cases of journalists being summoned or threatened for writing about candidates, and the chief of the police threatened people who discouraged others to vote.
Mohsen Moeini is an Iranian author and director. His work mainly centers around his philosophical and historical preoccupations. As well as directing his own plays, he has directed plays by foreign authors such as Peter Handke and Rainer Werner Fassbinder whose works he staged in Iran for the first time. The Isfahan National Holy Association was the main political and decision-making bureau of Isfahan, Iran during the first Persian Constitutional Revolution period. The members of the council were elected by the people of Isfahan and Nurollah Najafi Isfahani chaired the council.
