Señorita México was the name of a national beauty pageant in Mexico, celebrated since 1952. After 2005, the pageant changed its name to "Miss Mexico". From 1952 to 1994, was the official pageant responsible for sending the country's representatives to the Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International and other international pageants.
The Mexicana Universal is a national beauty pageant in Mexico held annually since 2018, replacing the former pageant, Nuestra Belleza México, held since 1994. Miss World Mexico 2016, now referred to as Miss Mexico 2016, is the very first edition of a new pageant organization formed by Hugo Castellanos after Lupita Jones, president of Nuestra Belleza México, lost the franchise with Miss World. The pageant held at Teatro Morelos of Morelia, Michoacán on 14 October 2016. 31 contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title. Two winners were crowned at the end of the event: Ana Girault of Ciudad de México as Miss World Mexico 2016/Miss Mexico 2016, and Andrea Meza of Chihuahua as Miss World Mexico 2017/Miss Mexico 2017. Ana Girault of Ciudad de México was crowned as the titleholder for 2016 and Andrea Meza of Chihuahua was crowned as the titleholder for 2017. Meza represented the country at Miss World 2017 in China.
Melissa Flores Godínez is a Mexican beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Mexicana Universal 2023. She represented Mexico at the Miss Universe 2023 pageant in El Salvador where she was unplaced.
Andrea Isabel Toscano Ramírez is a Mexican beauty pageant titleholder who won Mexicana Universal 2018 on June 3, 2018. She represented Mexico at Miss Universe 2018, but was unplaced. Toscano represented Mexico at Miss International 2019 and was first runner-up.
Valeria María Ayos Bossa is a Colombian beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Colombia 2021. She represented Colombia at Miss Universe 2021 in Israel where she finished as a top 5 finalist.
Señorita Colombia 2019 was the 67th edition of the Miss Colombia pageant. It was held at the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia on November 11, 2019.
Camila Escribens is a Peruvian beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Peru 2023, and also represented Peru at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador.
