Isabel Marie Gose (born 9 May 2002) is a German swimmer. [1] She is 1500 metre freestyle World champion and 400 m freestyle European champion. She also won the bronze medal in the 1500 metre freestyle at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The swimming events of the 15th FINA World Aquatics Championships were held July 28 – August 4, 2013, in Barcelona, Spain. The competition was held in a long course pool inside the Palau Sant Jordi. It featured 40 LCM events, split evenly between males and females. Swimming was one of the five aquatic disciplines at the championships.

In total, Wellbrock has won 28 medals at international competitions of which 20 are gold. The women's 1500 metre freestyle event at the 2024 Summer Olympics was held on 30 and 31 July 2024 at the Paris La Défense Arena. This was the event's second consecutive appearance, first appearing in 2020.
